What a warm welcome on our first night in Scotland. The beds were comfortable and we stayed cozy throughout the night with a gas lit fireplace that cast a soft glow on the room. Home-ade shortbread and fresh flowers in our room were a lovely touch. How did our hostess know Black Eyed Susan's were my favorite? Around 3 a.m. we both found ourselves sitting before our rooms picture window, curtains flung open wide. The sleeping village sloped away from us and the chimney pots on the roofs glistened like diamonds in the moonlight. Magical! delicious abundant breakfast accommodating to vegetarians and high marks for the rhubarb and ginger preserves. Peace and quiet, just what we needed!

Stayed with Pat in Saline for 9 nights for the 2014 Ryder Cup. We were welcomed from the first moment and there was ample off road parking. Breakfast was excellent when we were there for breakfast. Lovely view over The Ochil Hills. …

I stayed for one night on a cycling tour, my bike was stored safely. I'm vegetarian and breakfast was great. Fruit and porridge (very nice) and cooked breakfast set me up for a day's riding. …

I stayed for two nights whilst in the area for a family funeral. The rooms were large and very comfortable with everything you would need, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and the views were amazing. Pat was very friendly and welcoming and helped with directions etc. I would be very happy staying here again.

My partner and I were heading to the log cabins on Wednesday 28th of February 2018 when the red alert (weather warning) happened. We were stuck on the m80 for 7 hours and at 4.30am we got to the town of Saline. …
