Location of the huts and views of the loch are breathtaking. The kids loved feeding the chickens in the coop outside and collecting fresh eggs with excitement. Plenty of space to run around. The host Kate was so nice and welcoming. Fresh cake on arrival was a nice touch. Kate give a tour of the farm for my 5 year old who absolutely loved seeing the farm animals.I would highly recommend this place for family’s with kids or couples who would love a peaceful retreat

We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights and really wish we had stayed for more. Our kids (8yrs and 2yrs) absolutely loved our time at Craigduckie Farm. There's lots of open space and freedom and you automatically relax just being there. I'm a real city girl, so I was a bit apprehensive about a farm stay - this was the most beautiful stay ever. The cabins are clean and so comfortable. I really loved that they are parked on gravel, so no muddy shoes or mess coming in and out. We booked the cabin with the outdoor twin bath tubs, and it was so lovely to soak in a hot tub listening to the sheep and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. The cooking facilities, outdoor bbq and indoor stove and oven, was perfect and so much fun to today marshmallows and bbq. We ordered the breakfast basket, which provided us with delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It is close to a fishing farm, where my boys went fishing for our dinner, and Dunfermline is close by for a bit of shopping.Katie and her beautiful family were the icing on the cake. They are so friendly and gave us a wonderful farm tour. They have set up a beautiful farm stay that our family will talk about for years to come.

We had a lovely romantic stay here at Craigduckie Shepards Huts. Beautiful scenery surrounding the huts, especially from the luxurious outdoor baths. Host Katie was extremely welcoming, and the huts themselves were immaculate throughout. Highly recommend a stay here at Craigduckie Shepards Huts🐮

We stayed at Craigduckie for two nights in early January. We wanted to stay somewhere close to home in Edinburgh (to avoid a long drive) but still offered the peacefulness of the countryside to relax after the festive period. …

Liked: The shepherds hut was amazing. To have a kitchen, shower and toilet was pure luxury. The whole hut was fitted out to a very high spec. …

We stayed at Ewe view for two nights with our 3 and 5 year old. The hut is amazing - clean, well stocked and very practical. We were very fortunate with the weather and cooked our food outside and enjoyed the bath hut (only for ewe view guests). Children loved having chickens in a coop outside and having space to run around. The host Katie was so welcoming and showed us around the farm. Couldn’t recommend this place more, we will certainly be back.

We stayed for two nights in Ewe View and even the rain couldn’t dampen our experience. The hut had everything we could ask for and the double bath was a firm favourite of our young children. …
