I highly recommend Yorkston guest house for any visitor. The rooms are simply beautiful, the location (right next to the Lade Braes) outstanding and every detail (down to the hot water bottle, the sewing kit that I needed to use, the quality of the toiletries etc. ) showed that the owners cared about offering the very best in hospitality. I was meeting other guests who’d chosen to stay here in St Andrews and I was delighted by their choice. In fact, even though I’ve family who live close by, it’s easier for me to stay at this guest house so I hope to return. I wasn’t feeling well at one point and they bent over backwards to assist. It’s a beautifully run heritage family owned guest house passed on to new generations and I look forward to future stays. They have my highest recommendation.

What a great place. We had the room with the twin beds due to availability but it wasn't a big deal. The beds were super comfortable and the room was not huge but we didn't feel cramped at all. …

One of the best I've stayed at! Rooms are very good, comfortable and suitable facilities you'd expect from a guesthouse. The owner or manager was brilliant, goes above and beyond and even catered for our early exit to catch a flight with a couple of bacon rolls (after a few too many the night before... this sorted us right out!) The guesthouse is about a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and 15 minutes from the old course, an ideal location all around we found. Strongly recommend staying here, if I return to St. Andrew's, I'd book this place without thought.

Owners are as nice as can be. Check in, check out and breakfasts were on time and excellent. Price is very fair. ||Stayed in a single room for five nights. Small but practical for a golfer that is not there much.  …

Very good guesthouse in St Andrews. Very friendly service, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Great location and only a few minutes walk to town and to the golf courses. Close to the bus station which is especially good if you catch the buss from Leuchars train station. Highly recommended.

This ten roomed guest house sits at the edge of the town centre and provided everything we needed although the cost reflected the high desirability of accommodation in St Andrews. …
