My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights, while we went on an excursion. The hotel has an excellent structure, the staff are friendly and polite. The room is spacious, warm, smells nice, clean and has an excellent shower! However, there are some points that could be improved:- During the days that we were staying, the mugs that we used were not washed or changed.- I only had breakfast one day at the hotel, because the quality of the hot chocolate was very poor. I complained to the professional who was serving us, I told him that the hot chocolate tasted strange, that it seemed like it had water in it and he replied: “We usually make it with milk, but today we made it with water, so it’s just water and chocolate powder!”. I’m not from Scotland, I don’t know if it’s customary there to make hot chocolate with just water and chocolate powder, but I really thought it was strange and bad.- There’s no telephone in the room, so to speak to the reception you have to go there. But without a doubt, we would stay at the hotel again.Congratulations to the entire team!

Loved our overnight stay, spacious room despite being made up with large king size bed and two single beds. Very clean. Lovely staff. Ate at Harry’s bistro within the hotel and food was piping hot and lovely. …

5 stars from the happy couple! We have just had the best day of our lives at Pitbauchlie hotel for our wedding. The staff there were incredible. Always on hand to give assistance throughout the day. Pitbauchlie takes a very couple centred approach in the wedding planning experience and are happy to accommodate all our needs. I was also very impressed with the food we were served at our wedding meal it was a very high standard and ultimately delicious! We look forward to returning in the near future

Can't say too much about this hotel. Arrived late and departed early. One night stay on Business before heading for an early morning flight from Edinburgh. About 20 mins from Airport on the North side of the Queensferry Crossing.  …

The team at the hotel could not have been better. With the hotels in Edinburgh getting so expensive this is a great and easy location to commute to the capital. The trains are great, J&B taxis were lovely to get to the station if you didn’t want to walk or use a bus.

Stayed here twice in one week recently. The hotel was fine.. Some areas a little dated. One room was very spacious, with shower only, the other small and a bit tight for space, with shower over the bath only. The latter room smelled a little stale, but rooms were spotless. Beds incredibly comfy though. Ate in the bar conservatory area, a pleasant area with nice view. Menu is limited but both meals I had were fine. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Nice setting and very nice rooms. The restaurant had good food, also. The very best part was the desk clerk, Ian. Very personable and eager to help us in any way he could. He was interested in our travels, and where we had come from. He made it a very pleasant stay. Free parking and nice garden, also.

During our stay, we encountered a couple of unexpected issues, including finding hair on the bed and a spider in the room. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation by replacing the bedding and offered to make amends with breakfast, though unfortunately, we were short on time. Despite these occurrences, the overall experience was pleasant, and the staff displayed professionalism throughout. I believe these were isolated incidents, and I would still recommend this place without hesitation.
