For Americans, this is comparable to Motel 6. On the plus side, it was easy to get to by subway from the airport, and just maybe 6 to 8 blocks away from the subway line. …

Glasgow House, Glasgow, This place is everything previous comments said: gloomy small, cramped bedroom, window without any direct sun light, freezing cold. …

Horrific hotel- unsafe and unsanitary.|Door didn’t lock properly- looked like it had been previously kicked off, shower non functional, mould everywhere, carpets filthy. Stairs an absolute hazard.|Toilet cistern hanging off the wall- sent here by a business I will not be working for again. Avoid like the plague.

As they say : “good things aren’t cheap and cheap things aren’t good”. It’s like the scene in the movie Big where Tom Hank rents that hotel on his first night.I’m currently staying here about to check out and anywhere you look there’s something stained, worn or falling apart. And yes the mold is real. It looks like the caulked over the mold like we wouldn’t notice.Rooms need an insane update on everything. Carpet is undone at the edges, chipped paint and the mattress is basically on a plank of wood.Walls are paper thin, and we stayed where the window looked out to the street so the windows too were thin. We kept thinking they were open as it’s across the street from a pub and the Main Street so you hear lots of traffic. the room is next to the entrance and the door kept slamming constantly through the middle of the night. The lady working there was nice to let us leave our bags at the very least before check in. Otherwise our place made us feel pretty uncomfortable …oh and your room key will get you inside all the rooms so be sure to take your valuables when you leave. This is the spirit airline of hotels.

In the middle of attractions, eatery places and malls, several bus routes stop near by, kind staff, clean and cozy rooms, no complaints.

I recently stayed here for one night. We got upgraded to a bigger room that was very spacious, however the bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold. We asked the front desk woman if we could be compensated for the black mold as it's a health risk, however she said that she couldn't compensate us. The beds were comfortable and the location was great, but it is not okay to have toxic black mold.

This "Hotel" needs massive investment and refurbished asap ...the rooms are worn , carpets worn . Walls need painting. Toilet wall tiles have mold . Bedroom ceiling had mold and dampness! Yes it's a budget Hotel but cleaning mold of walls is a simple task as is painting the ceiling? Also the key to the main entrance also opens the bedroom door? Are all keys able to open all doors ? Safety?

I shared my bed with some nasty wee bedfellows who did some serious biting. Transpired, found out later, when I contacted the council about it, the property had been investigated by the pest control team, so that confirmed it for me that there is a pest issue in the property.
