Stayed at the Benleva after hiking Ben Nevis earlier in the day. We were hoping for a long hot shower, a good meal and a comfy bed. Happy to report all 3 were available. …

Great experience. Really felt welcomed and taken care of. Michael (the manager) was especially friendly and helpful. Room was simple but exactly what we expected for a night with my wife and two teenagers.  …

Cute historic building, great home base to access Loch Ness. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Great water pressure in the shower.||The staff were friendly but seemed a little harried— maybe a little short-staffed? It didn’t impact our stay.

Very very disappointed. No white wine in bar. Had to go to local co'op. Menu extremely limited and running out of choices before7pm!. Does not live up to description of food . People have to walk through dining room to bar. Tables too close together. Only redeeming feature was lisa who tried her best for us considering it was our anniversary weekend. A week later I am still waiting receipt for evening meal! Considering this is the height of the season very very poor.

Very friendly and helpful staff! House has been redone nicely and the room (family room) we stayed in was spacious and clean. Great little stop- one of our favorites on the trip around Scotland.

I dont like giving bad review, but this time i have toWhen we arrived it took almost 30 minutes and several phone calls to convince the lady at the reception that we had paid for the room in advance. We had paid months ago,so this was quite frustrating .The hotel is dark and quite run down. The attached pub is quite niceBreakfast was... Mainly big... and served in what can best be described as a cellar. It was not impressive and we kept thinking if this is just old and charming,or its the kind of place Gordon Ramsay will show up soonMaby we just had a bad day..

This place is a bit like faulty towers. It was raining when we arrived at 3.20pm but the bell to check in is ignored. Check in is 4pm and nobody wants to know until then. We had the room over the bar and there was a band until midnight and the bar open until 1am. Not ideal given we had 20 miles to walk the following day on the Great Glen Way. The housekeeper was lovely, despite battling with a flooded bedroom next to ours. Food was decent. It was just the lack of flexibility and the lack of sleep.
