Stayed here a few times in different rooms which are each well presented and catered for by the hospitable host. A quiet street but in walking distance of all the town facilities. A good base for venturing further afield on recommendations from the host who is also a guide. Ideal value and will be back. Thanks

Stayed a night in October and found it a very pretty, pleasant stay. Price is decent for the area, location and view, rooms are spotlessly clean and owner was friendly and helpful, albeit not on site. It is an occasionally-used home so the vibe is definitely more guest house than hotel, and the bathroom is shared but again, it's a house so en-suites are not to be expected.I'd definitely stay again if returning to Kyle.

Stayed with a couple of friends, lovely host and the place was lovely and clean. However the drains were very noisy, and the bed we slept in squeaked excessively when you moved. However was fine for the price and would have been 4 stars if bed didn’t creak as much so if you don’t mind that you’ll be fine

We had a good stay with family at Skye View. Booked two rooms, a bigger family room and a small twin room, all with nice view. Very happy with our choice, we had a great time staying here. Highly recommended!

Definitly not worth the price. The room is minuscule (advertised as 10 sq meters, but its max 6), toilet is outside the room and shared, same for bathroom. This was the most expensive room of my trip and by far the smallesr room -and the only one not to have a private bath-. I had breakfast at Kyle Hotel where they advertised their rooms for 60 GBP in May, vs 70 for this place for 1 person. The problem is that demand is high for the area, which much allow the host -who doesnt either meet the guest even if in the house- to charge whatever she wants. I am reviewing the room with twin beds, the other one seemed better.

Great location for touring Skye and Plockton areas. Clean, great continental breakfast and friendly knowledgeable host. Good value too as found so many others really inflated prices due to increased popularity of the area with overseas travel restrictions.

Motorcycles are not welcome! We booked in February and began our tour through Scotland in July. A few days before we reached Skye View Cottage, be had to cancel the booking because they don’t want guests with motorcycles. We were very disappointed and had to search a new B&B. ☹️
