Very nice place. The food was amazing I highly recommend the steak sandwich. Our waiter was lovely and couldn't do anymore. Our room was cozy and clean. And I can compliment the hot powerful shower. No faults at all I will definitely visit again

We enjoyed a great short stay, as part of a cycle touring trip. We arrived early to drop the panniers off before exploring the adjacent South Downs. Had a delicious lunch, and later, a fantastic dinner. …

Fantastic pub and hotel. Beautiful rooms, well appointed. Friendly staff…Jaime greeted us by name (from reservation) as we walked in the door and provided wonderful personal service for the visit. Breakfast in the pub area the next morning was fabulous. We were greeted by a lovely Irish lady, Philomena, and you felt like you were in her own kitchen, warm friendly service and excellent food. We also had dinner in the restaurant the night before which was great. Beautiful surroundings, lovely scenery and walks. Highly recommend.

We had a family wake in a private room at The Bull today. We were so well looked after, with a dedicated member of staff, who was friendly and helpful. The coffee was hot, the beer and wine were first class and the buffet was spot on. …

A friend and I stayed at the bull for the last 2 nights. We wanted somewhere within walking distance of some English fizz vineyards and we were spoilt with this choice. …

Our stay at the Bull was excellent. All the staff were wonderful ,warm and welcoming. We all particularly liked the lovely lady who served us all breakfast in the morning, she had a great sense of humour and service. Also the two Phil’s were great and the very nice housekeeper who tidied our rooms .The rooms were stylish and very comfortable. The ambience and vibe of the Bull made it a fun and cosy stay. Breakfast, dinner and the wines were all very good. This is the second time we have stayed and we will return. We were a party of nine and we all loved our stay at the Bull.

Stayed for a of couple nights and this was our third visit. The rooms are fine, well equipped and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal the first evening which was disappointing. Breakfast was better with a reasonable choice. Will stay again but probably not eat in the dining room.
