Great value for money. The room was clean had everything I needed and the small fridge was an added bonus for me. Staff were friendly and helpful. On the downside it was very noisy through the night. With planes right overhead till midnight and some sort of generator type noise on and off all night I kept waking up. This wasn’t ideal as I was looking for a good sleep before an early get up to do a 10k race.

Clean large room in a country setting. The view out the back of the property was amazing. Birds, squirrels and foxes were visible from the room. There is also a public footpath out the back of the property but it's not heavily used so it's not always easy to follow. The airport is close by so during the day the jets are flying very close every 4 minutes, night was not as bad. It wasn't terrible, but be aware. It's outside of town so if you don't have a car plan on taxi to and from everything. Would have liked to stay another day. WiFi was very fast.

Lovely staff. They stayed late so we could check in after the usual check in times which we were very grateful for. This was prearranged with them, usually check in is only until 11, so thank you.The room was clean. Very dated though. I was disappointed as when I looked at the photos of rooms during booking it was the only room I didn't like (the one with the cupboards above the bed). I wouldn't stay again in one of these rooms. The location is lovely and the garden view was very nice. The hotel is under the Gatwick flight path and you can hear the planes going over. We stayed during the heatwave so had to have the window open, so unfortunately it was quite loud. With it closed, not so bad. So it was just unfortunate it was during the heatwave.I was absolutely fascinated watching the planes out of the window in the morning though- what an amazing view!Didn't try breakfast, but the area where it's served looks so nice.Nice, fast self check out.Reasonable price.

Dreadful. Dirty room, large stain on duvet, dirty bathroom. Bed smaller than normal double (4 ft I would guess). Booked breakfast but absolutely no staff in hotel in the morning. No food around just some curdled milk and another couple who'd been waiting a while hoping staff would show up. Front door unlocked so anybody could walk in. Contact. number given went straight to answering machine. Sent the hotel an email asking for refund of £13.98 charged for breakfast, gave them a week but heard nothing. I cannot understand how their review scores are not lower IF they are genuine. I am also amazed that at least a couple of reviews I have seen say it's a quiet hotel. We didn't expect quiet because it is so close to Gatwick (look at the Google earth view - it's practically at the end of the runway!). Planes went over every couple of minutes (we soon blanked them out). I strongly recommend going nowhere near this all alleged "hotel".

Arrived late due to flight delays. Welcome was ok. Rooms very tired. Tv in bedroom not working. Electric shower very poor hot one minute, cold the next.Toilet seat loose. No immeanities, ie, nothing to drink apart from coffee in the room and no food available. Not even a bar. Nice old building but could be made alot more attractive with some thought. We had to check in by 11pm or not sure what would have happened. We arrived at 10.50. So made it. No offer when we contacted them to say we may arrive late to stay and wait for out arrival.

Unfortunately we did not have a good night's sleep at this hotel. The lady on reception was personable so we have no grumbles there. The room appeared nice enough initially, however, it was quite tight to get around the bed. The bathroom door did not close. There was the consistent noise from the flight path - which obviously tailed off eventually, but unfortunately my husband was kept awake by the bright light coming under the door from the landing. He tried wedging a cushion there, but it was a very disturbed night and just as we were starting to drop off to sleep, the flights started again.Needless to say we were very drained for our flight.

Beautifully clean, lovely breakfast, very helpful staff. Had a small problem which was resolved swiftly by Sabia. Very close to the airport but felt out in the countryside. Would stay again.

A good size of room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable but a bit small. Everywhere was clean. The staff when there was very pleasant. In the room the painting on the walls were peeling of, there's no place to put your things in the bathroom, nothing to hang towels on next to the zink, the toilet roll holder was placed very inconveniently, so unavoidably you'd have it in your side using the facilities. On the second morning we didn't get breakfast at 7:30 as promised and which we have paid for. In the mornings there's no staff around. In general the breakfast is really basic. The most meager I've ever had in a hotel.

This Hotel is to close to the end of the runway. Aircraft pass over at approx 1000ft when taking off and less when landing. This goes on all night and into morning with 15-45 mins gap. When landing the WiFi a d TV reception temporally cut off. The room was nice and recently refurbished also had a fridge. 2 microwaves are available to use in the lobby areaBreakfast is to be avoided toast and cereal with UHT milk. Best just bring your own or go to another hotel for breakfast. For £40 per night this must be the cheapest hotel so can't grumble to much but bring sleeping pills and or a bottle of spirits.

Perfect for what we needed as we had early flight in the morning. The room was clean other than one mug was dirty. Also shower holder was broken. But other than that it was a pleasant stay.
