I should have spent my money on a tent, there would be more amenities.Shower did not work, flush on toilet sticks, window wedged open and single glazed meaning freezing room, couple of tea bags provided though no kettle, curtains didn't fit the broken window. Your car will nearly break upon entering the car park due to the crater in the road.Beer tasted like soap in the bar. Apart from that, absolutely brilliant.

Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment. Mould, grubby paintwork, Light bulbs missing, WI Fi available as advertised but with no internet access, useless. BATHROOM ! clean towels but that about it. …

We stayed at the Brambletye Hotel for 3 nights at the end of May 2024 and there were a few things we noticed that dampened the experience a bit. …

Has seen far better days. Clients just park on the pavement constantly, blocking the path for all, with no consideration whatsoever. Elderly locals in particular are suffering. Come on, sort this out, it's just not right. …

The price seemed fine for a single night given it's listed as a 3 star hotel, didn't really expect much going into it as it was just somewhere to stay whilst in the area. The room itself was mostly fine, it just needed some renovations, a lot of chipped paint and scratch marks on the walls. The main problem was the bathroom. When we got in, there was no hand soap in either of the dispensers, so the room hadn't been properly checked since we got there. We got two tiny bars of hand soap after asking. Also, after turning on the light, the extractor fan turned on, which seemed to pump the smell of what might generously be called rotten eggs into the bathroom. The light stayed off for the rest of the trip to avoid that occurring again. There was no bath mat next to the shower, so even if we did want to risk a shower in the dark, we might not have survived the exit. Also, no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, so it wouldn't have done us much good. Also also, the bathroom really needed a clean, the shower rail was rusty and there was mildew and stains between the shower tiles.

The only positive thing we can say is the bed had clean sheets and the towels were changed everyday! Very sad looking, carpets have seen better days. No one on reception, no breakfast, trickle for a shower! …

DO NOT STAY HERE!Mould everywhere and with a strong and pungent smell. I can not recommend this place at all.We were a larger group staying at this hotel, and all the rooms were mouldy.Loud music blaring throughout the hotel in the middle of the night, keeping everyone awake. When we asked for the manager, we were told he would come by the next day. He never came, and we repeatedly asked for him or her.The carpets had stains that led to us never walking around in the room without shoes on. The bathtub had weird inexplicable stains. Just ew!I have stayed in 1£ a night hostels in the jungles of southeast asia that were cleaner than this place.

Little bit of dust and cobwebs round lamps above bed. But this place was half the cost of the swan just up the road. Didnt see anyone at all eating inside so didnt fancy eating here. we went up the road to the swan for a meal and that place was packed with people eating. Prices for food were reasonable when looking the the menu but not sure how the food tasted as we didnt eat here. This place also had a car park with plenty of space. No iron in the holder but you get an ironing board. Fridge had to be turned up to cool anything. No plug for the bath so only a shower in our room. But you get what you pay for. Staff seemed friendly enough too and helpful.
