So currently staying at the Grand Hotel with my mother. Absolutely fantastic hotel, rooms are lovely and clean, we have evening meals and breakfast included in our stay and we can't fault the food. The selection is lovely. …

Old hotel with creepy atmosphere. I absolutely love it. This hotel is very special. Not for everyone. Isn't modern. But is beautiful. Rooms clean, very comfortable beds, great view. You can see is hotel with history.

The entertainment options and location are great, but the place falls short in terms of maintenance and amenities. The floors are creaky, and there's a lack of amenities such as a dressing table, extra pillows, blankets, or a fan and iron in the room. The blow dryer didn't work, and the balcony door was difficult to open. Limited availability of wifi and bed sizes in the family room were also issues. On the positive side, the location offers amazing views, and the staff was generally good, but the property would benefit greatly from a complete refurbishment. absolutely in love with the location.

Room was basic and old fashioned, with Wood chip wallpaper on walls. Only 1 pillow on bed each. No phone in room to contact reception if needed.Room was clean and bed comfortable, just very dated.Took ages to check in as only one member of staff on at the time.Location couldn't be better for the beach and the pier.

Excellent location, staff are extremely friendly but the rooms are just a little dated. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again but as others have mentioned it's just a little dated in the rooms considering the price. We added on th breakfast in the morning and it was definitely worth it very nice indeed with a lovely view the mushrooms were delicious 😋

When you hear the phrase, you pay for what you get, you can definitely re phrase it for this very, very less than Grand Hotel.Friendly staff and great location are the only good things I can say about it.When we entered our room, We immediately felt like we had gone back in time! This was the most uninviting, uncomfortable, and bleak room we have ever been unfortunate to have been in.The bathroom had too many bad points to list. The floor is so bad that it feels like you're walking on a rope and plank bridge like something from Raiders of the Lost Ark.The windows made a beautiful sunny day look like pea soup fog!
