First visit since it re-opened under new management earlier in July ‘24. A well stocked bar with something for everyone. The Camden Eazy was 👍🏻. Plenty of parking behind the building. Well worth a visit - we’ll be back. Down the drive on the left before the speed reminder as you drive into the village.

Massively overpriced at £144 for, at absolute best, 2-Star accomodation. My son and I shared a triple room (Double plus a single) with an ensuite shower/bathroom.Postives - room was clean and the sheets fresh and actually felt very new; bed was comfortable; shower pressure good and plenty of hot water. Views from the bedroom were fab.Negatives - room was very small, being re-decorated and not yet finished, no food on-site and nothing within walking distance (at this price I'd at least expect a buffet breakfast). All the opening windows were small and the room down a narrow winding corridor; if there was fire on the only staircase there was no way out! Tea making facilities lacked cups and the only power supply to plug in a kettle was either by putting it on the floor in front of the door or perching it on the bed.All in all really not great - won't be returning

Lovely friendly hotel, fantastic food (very generous portions too), great selection of gin, local beer and unusual wines. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Beautiful dining room and perfectly situated for a walk into Moelfre. Work is underway to update the rooms (strange electrics at the moment) but they are clean and fresh.Overall 5⭐food and hospitality but 3⭐fittings at the moment. We'll certainly be back though

My son and I wanted a cheap hotel for one night whilst on a photography trip. We booked Ty Dderw on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews and the very reasonable pricing. At this price point we weren't expecting anything better than "ordinary". For the facilities, this is exactly what we got. A basic room, but comfortable, clean and adequately equipped. What we didn't expect was the genuinely friendly service. All the staff were happy, very courteous and very helpful. The food was very good with exceptional helpings - neither of us could finish our main course (which is close to sacrilege for a Yorkshireman....). Breakfast was also superb. The only negatives I can come up with are largely irrelevant. The TV in the room was small with limited channels. The decor is basic, but perfectly adequate. However, these aspects are massively outweighed by the quality of the people, which is what turns Ty Dderw from "ordinary" to "would happily visit again"Well done - not many hotels could deliver this service at this price point.

This review centered more around the bar and restaurant as I have not utilised the hotel facilities. Food menu is substantial and quality is incredible. Great steak and cooked to perfection. Good selection of ales and other tipples available. Rustic atmosphere with exposed beams, large spaces too. Dog friendly in certain areas. Very warm and friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights last month (July 2018) and it was overall a fantastic place to stay. The inn had delicious food (and scrumptious complimentary breakfasts!), friendly, approachable staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It also was surrounded by great views, was extremely close to the beach, and had lots of information about surrounding attractions. Some of the few downsides to our stay was that the wifi was rather temperamental, and the water pressure in our shower was poor.Nonetheless it was a fantastic place to stay, and I'd highly recommend this quaint country inn.

Nice room, lovely bath, good location and good breakfast. Also suitable for solo travelers in the North of Wales. Great value for money!Friendly staff, despite my arrival just being shy of the 9 pm check in time (thank you again for serving me so late!), the lady serving breakfast was also very kind and made sure I had everything I needed.I would say that a couple of minor things could be looked into - for example the driveway on the approach was a little uneven and the water coming through the pipes was a little slow. Neither of these particularly had a negative impact on my stay though, I can tell that the room has had recent decoration which was nice.

My children, dog and I stayed in the chalet which the staff quickly arranged for us in urgent circumstances. Very clean, comfortable, lots of piping hot water and stunning views. Clean plates all round at breakfast. We particularly enjoyed our juicy and tasty steak night on Friday. Thank you to all for helping my family turn around a bad start to our holiday. My children, friends and myself will be visiting you again.
