Have eaten at Seacroft many times in recent years and always had great food and service. This time decided on an overnight stay as treat for myself & daughter. Seacroft didn’t disappoint! …

What a great place !!... Stopped off for a light lunch after a nice beach walk and was not disappointed with what was brought out. We ordered drinks and food which was all delivered by friendly, helpful staff. Loved it and would highly recommend.

Our recent visit was disappointing from previous visits. We ordered food which wasn’t a patch on our last visit. Steak pie chips and veg? Steak pie was ok gravy was obviously bisto very thin watery, veg was just broccoli, we also had pizza which was ready made base and very overcooked underneath and bland, not as good as when we’ve visited before. Don’t think we will return on our next visit.Since this review and credit to the management this situation has been resolved professionally and courteously and accepted that fault on my side and the restaurants side have been acknowledged, we have visited this restaurant several times in the past and always found the staff and the food some of the best in the area. We will visit again and should the need arise we will address this at the time and not later as I accept I neglected to do. Thank you Nathan for your contact.

Had a tasty meal in the evening. My choice was steak and ale pie with a local stout. I found it very good and would order again. My only warning is be aware of the parking situation because there's not many spaces to park so hopefully you are there at a good time but if not you might have to park on the grass outside.

Lovely staff, good beer albeit expensive. Food not cheap although was a nice pie and burger, but dirty fries way too tight on the portion size for 12 quid.

I wish this was a better pub. I went in July, August and again in October, each time for a beer. They don’t serve anything to have with your drink. No nuts, crisps, olives, anything. I asked why and they said it was a problem with their supplier. It surely can’t be that hard.

I can't comment on the rooms or food but as a person who appreciates a decent pint this is not a good choice. Been in 4 times this year and the first time I asked for a cider and was served lager. later that week i was served an undrinkable pint of bitter that even the bar manager agreed was rancid and recently asked for a pint of the only cask beer they had and it tasted like washing up liquid. Fair enough every complaint was dealt with without dispute but why not get it right first time. I understand the industry is suffering from a lack of experienced staff but this place appears to be run by kids who treat their employment as a youth club

I ordered Prawn Cocktail for a starter but didn’t eat the prawns, they were white in colour and flavourless. I had the Scampi for main which was all frozen produce, and not a decent sized portion for £15, not even any garnish… very chain pub feel, with little attention to detail. The menu isn’t reflective of the fact that it is in a beautiful bay on the coast. Service was ok.

Well what can I say here, service and food are a shambles.staff don't have the basic training .Food is very poor over priced and mediocre.chips not cooked and as for the quality I'd say 2 out of ten.Service is a shambles.Staff don't know what beers are available.Place needs a good clean and food menu revamped.tired is an understatement.Whoever is running this establishment needs to wake up before it looses any reputation it has.It appears to be running on its reputation but in reality it is tarnished and service ,food and the place in general needs sorting out.The place is owned by the Robinson group well you need to visit to see just how poor it is.Sorry but this is an honest opinion of the seacroft.
