Thank you to Jenny and Margaret who are both absolutely lovely! Very accommodating when we arrived and showed us around, had a welcome card waiting for us too. Owl lodge was beautiful, we loved our girls night away in the hot tub! Absolutely beautiful place, the sauna was so nice too. I will definitely be back couldn’t recommend this place enough! Your both the Best hosts ever xx

Absolutely outstanding. 5 starts for what would reasonably be expected, and would add extra stars if possible for the general thoughtfulness of the owner, the little unique, personal touches. The welcome card. The fresh flowers. The treats for the dog. Totally unexpected, but really cheered me up after a stressful day. Many thanks. Will definitely return.

Perfection personified. The most magical Owl Lodge, it was our home for 5 days. It was pure heaven. No TV which we really didn’t miss at all.Our most wonderful hosts were perfect, sharing their time with us was so beautiful. We miss everything about Owl Lodge we didn’t want to leave.

Found this place by chance as we were looking for somewhere near Wrexham and we are so glad we did. Loved the peacefulness. Jenny was great and helped when needed. We stayed in the Doghouse. Love all the little touches. …

Gorgeous place, really enjoyed it. Owners are so helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Hot tub is great just wasn't warm enough in time as we went into the village for most of the day. I Would stay again so cosy warm and relaxing. Kids had a lovely stay too, we didn't want to leave. Lovely place to get away from it all. Kitchen facilities in The Doghouse are good but you might prefer to eat elsewhere. Wood burner and hot tub are great in the colder weather.

Nicest hosts you could ask for, in a magical setting. Most Accomodation is close to the house (100 yards or so), so if your happy with the minimum go for copse camp. A bit further away and just the most ideal venue for a comfortable family summer camp.

This place is a little Gem. We absolutely loved it here. Visited with the wife and 8yr old daughter, as I'm writing this review I wish we had never left for home. Jenny & Margaret are really really nice people and nothing was ever a problem. They let my daughter feed the horses every morning, collect chicken eggs with them and even help round up sheep which she loved...They even took us to see there treehouse which was in process of being completed....Jenny & Margaret treated us like family and spent a lot of time with my daughter while at the lodge....We will definitely be going back here.....
