Stayed for one night whilst visiting family locally. The room and en-suite were clean and comfortable. A great location for exploring the area. The hosts, Robert and Ann were very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was very good and Robert served great coffee, just as we liked it, fresh and strong.

Just back from a last minute overnight stay….we were in the super kingsize suite with private garden & log wood hot tub, wow just beautifully relaxing, sunbathed in the garden all afternoon with the sounds of nature all around.  …

This is the loveliest place to stay. I spent two nights here while working in North Wales. It was a perfect haven, really comfortable beds and the best experience. I would definitely recommend a stay here and the breakfast is just amazing. I will definitely be back.

The CL caravan / motorhome site is excellent. One of the best I've stayed at. Peaceful with first class views but only a few minutes easy drive from the A55. The new owners, Robert and Ann-Marie, are very friendly and share lots of useful local knowledge of where you can go, where to eat etc. Electric hook-up, great walks nearby for humans and dogs, and a very reasonable price. A lovely site to stay and ideal for exploring this part of Wales.

We had an amazing night's stay at Tafarn y Waen (formerly The Farmer's Arms). The room was exquisite, the hosts Elaine and Pete were warm, kind and welcoming, the views were serene, and the breakfast was great. The trip there was quite easy, and is straightforward after leaving the main road. We will definitely be booking another couple of nights here, and look forward to our next stay.

A bit out of the way for us as we have mobility issues bit all in all nice enough. Lovely and quiet.Cant go in with dog but ordered a breakfast which Pete brought to our van piping hot and cooked lovely. He even came back for the empty tray. The only downside for us was that you could only use toilets when open( I know that is like a lot of places) .For someone without mobility issues or toilet needs, I would recommend it
