Two families stayed in this guest house for just one night and it couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were exceptionally clean as were the shower and bathrooms. Carol the owner was so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The continental breakfast was sufficient to set us off on our way home.

I recently visited Aberdeen and I stayed at the Applewood guest house for 3 nights. I found the landlady Carol to be very helpful in every way and she answered every question that I asked her in a polite, positive and friendly way! Carol also had a friendly assistant called Holly, a white Scottish terrier who I thought was so cute. The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the showers and toilets were more than adequate. I would recommend anyone to stay at this accommodation. Davy Scott (Gateshead)

Stopped at Applewood Guest House for Easter weekend working. Carol was very welcoming on arrival. Nice clean place only issue I had was having to come down two flights of stairs to shower and use toilet. Room six was nice and warm and cosy with single bed sink in room and tea and coffee making facilities.||Regards |Richard

Clean room, had all the necessaries and nice carpets with a beautiful pattern to walk on. Also have several toilets and showers to use on a separate floor so you can shower late if ariving late. Really good and clean place. Best of it is its host Carol, she is amazing, gives a lot of tips of things to do and are talkative and attentive to your needs. Did book trough airbnb and would dearly want to recommend this as it is fantastic.

Very friendly landlady who can guide you quite well around the city. Cold breakfast buffet was extensive. Parking space limited. Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms are not ensuite, but there was no problem in waiting even though it was full house during our visit.

Booking made by phone 10 mins before we arrived. Carol made us very welcome and I enjoyed a great night’s sleep and super continental breakfast. She’s a true B&B pro and a font of local knowledge so very happy to recommend.

Very clean room. My single room was small but it had everything I needed and was immaculate. No complaints at all and I would definitely stay here again. It was within walking distance to a number of fun pubs and all of King St.

Really enjoyed our stay at Applewood Guest House, Carol was a great hostess! Great hospitality, decent rooms, enough facilities for all guests and a lovely view of Aberdeen from our room. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at the Applewood guest house. We booked our accommodations last minute as we missed the ferry to Shetland. The host was extremely helpful with rebooking and she was kind enough let us make expensive phone calls!
