Four years of my life wasted in this forsaken institution. I have lived in Wavell, Fyfe and Adam Smith house. Let me tell you, these building are crumbling. The mattresses are old. The insulation is also bare minimum. MAKE SURE YOU MENTION NOT TO BE PUT ON AN OUTSIDE ROOM. I spent one year in such a room and I was freezing during the winter. Reception is useless, I was injured one time and asked them for a first aid kit, which they did not have somehow. They don't know how the laundry works, because its a "private business" despite it being literally in the center of campus.Teaching is mediocre at best. So, disappointed in both teaching staff and other students. Swedish prisons have better living conditions. I feel like I am in a mental asylum.

Such a shame to see the 3 tennis courts which also served as a generous 5-a-side football pitch in utter ruin. Given the amount of money the university charges it's students, surely a few grand to restore this area is not too much to ask.

Living here is the WORST experience in UK for me, I have never seen this kind of SELFISH roommates in my whole life before I moved here. Some of my roommates always think the whole flat is their own home, they can do anything what they wanna do, they DON’T CARE about other members’ feelings, having parties in the midnights, cooking after the midnights, calling phones in the early morning, you can never have a QUIET and PEACEFUL night to sleep if you live with them, they don’t care if you have classes or exam tomorrow. And they always take many strangers back home for playing, watching movie or sleeping, you don’t know whether they are good or bad people, for me, my foods in refrigerator are stolen by someone, I don’t know who does because so many people, which is more than 5 are living here. If you want to live here, you better think if you have a strong endurance or sleep ability, otherwise, every day of staying here will be a torment.

Visited here as part of a uni offer day with my daughter. Rooms look clean and facilities are excellent. The onsite support from those operating the accommodation is very, very good. Supportive without being overly restrictive. Only downside is provision of cooking kit, meaning all students have to bring (and store) their own. There could be 7 sets of pots and pans in one flat! There's parking for cars and lockable bicycle storage too. I was very impressed.

Great student accommodation. Fantastic welcome from the staff and volunteer student residents' assistants. Will organised spirit for students with plenty of facilities activists, a shop, launderettes, games and good catering and a bar!

Absolutely terrible. To start with, the laundry service is always broken or leaves your clothes smelling terrible; the walls are mostly stained, as is most of the kitchen/appliances and worst of all the management has no care for student's complaints - you'll just be another invoice number. Heard nicer things about Unite.

Nice and quiet place. I really enjoyed my time at Hillhead Student Village. The staff was very supportive. I would definitely recommend the place to students coming to study at the University of Aberdeen.
