Lovely little guest house and nothing is more than about a 10 minute walk away. Lovely host. Dog friendly. There are 4 parking spaces, but also parking in the multi story across the way for £7 per day.

Absolutely terrible experience! We informed the owner 30 hours before our arrival that our train will be running late and that we needed to check in later that day. The only reply we got was that we must find other accommodation and were even refused a refund. This has never happened before with any accommodation I booked so far.

Terrible service! We informed the host that our train will be getting in late and they then simply told us to look for other accommodation leaving us with no option to change on such a short notice! In addition, they charged us the full stay and even refused a refund! We have never experienced such a poor treatment before.

I absolutely loved this place. Next time I might swing for the room with the ensuite but even sharing a bathroom was not an issue. Everything was super clean. The carpet was really comfy. The heat was at a perfect level and bed was very comfortable. The room was huge and super friendly for my dog. Absolutely zero complaints

I stayed one night before catching the ferry to the Northern Isles. The location is amazing, it´s just a few minutes to the bus and train station and not even a 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal.My room was huge and very comfy with a great view of the garden. Very lovely owner with great tips for the area.There is even a lovely communal kitchen with some things for breakfast.

The room is pretty well decorated, and as a matter, fact, I am impressed about it having said that there was no bathroom within the room. My sister was placed in the same category with the bathroom inside of the room. The room is pretty comfortable and clean. Everything in this accommodation is pretty self serve. There is a kitchen in the first floor with water bottles provided which is a plus and different type of cereal for breakfast with milk. Inside of the refrigerator. The bathroom is pretty small and I had to take a shower by taking the stair to the first floor, the shower pressure is pretty bad And it changes quickly from cold to hot and hot to cold. The hostess is pretty friendly. However, the only turn off about the hospitality is that prior to our arrival we were texted it’s possible for us to have an early check-in at the house as needed to be somewhere else, we were quite worried about it as we were driving from north of Scotland and did not want to get locked out. The host has offered to cancel my booking for his own convenience and he will refund the booking that we’ve made fully having said that it was really difficult for us to find a last minute reservations as all the other accommodations within the area, it’s pretty expensive. Therefore, we had no choice to drive as fast as I can before 10 pm for the check in. It’s a comfortable place to say bad, personal 24 hours reception desk to assist you.

Great hotel! Rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. Our rooms both had mini fridges and the central kitchen is very handy with a microwave, sink, utensils, milk & cereal, etc. Owner has parking spaces so we didn't have to pay for parking. Centrally located near the train station and tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again!
