I stayed for a week in a larger studio suite and was very pleased with the space, cleanliness, light and quality of the amenities - great little kitchen, with everything you need! …

Would stay again. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. You can also use a code to get in and out if you are out late. Make sure you tell them if you will be checking in late though or they charge you - bit of an unusual policy! Some of the comments are justified - I don’t understand why they don’t have somewhere to store luggage before / after check out. That is very odd. The seagulls are also very noisy but you’d get that in lots of parts of Aberdeen. And the flats are not super new so yes, they have some nicks and scratches here and there. But they are also in good working order and nothing to complain about! The location is really good

This was a great discovery for me as I normally stay in standard hotels . Neat, tidy and clean in a central location, this was a really quiet apartment that was well appointed and equipped with things that made my short stay very comfortable. Well done.

Stayed there with my wife for a few days. I don't get it how they can call this a four star hotel after reading what a 4 star hotel should have on the UK. By standard this couldn't ever be a 4 star hotel, nor even by any personal feelings could this be something like a 4/5 kind of experience. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, but here are the cons:1. Rooms are not very fresh, a lot of things are damaged like scuffs on doors that creek, broken tiles in bathroom that you could hurt your feet on, a plastic door above the toilet that hides all the pipes in the wall that pops out and drops into the toilet when you close the door to the suite (they tried to fix ot with a clear sticky tape), a bit of black mold in the bathroom, very small tv, overall the room feels heavily used2. No breakfast or any food whatsoever which is stated as a must even to get one star for your hotel3. Staff missing during the hours they should be at their desk4. Not 24/7 accessible, might not get in after 11PM5. No phone or a way to call staff, the number they have at reception says they are away even when it is their worktime6. There is a number for emergency contact, but if you call and they don't deem it as emergency there is a 30£ fine7. There is a safety fee when you book in, which they don't state before check in, when reserving the room8. Balcony has weird fake grass that is always wet, damaged chairs and a table with vey rusted nuts under the glass surface9. Towel warmer works randomly, sometimes cooks the whole room, later is just cold and you have no way to dry your towelsAll in all it felt like just getting a room in Aberdeen, like on Airbnb, but with extra price tag and no extras that a normal hotel would include plus silly safety fee like you are some kind of a student renting an apartment. Rooms just look tired and in need of repairs. Bathroom tiles cracked and popped up, dangerous to step on, might be a hazard.Feel like I overpaid a lot for a room with balcony which was the reason we chose it - to smoke comfortably, without going outside every time you feel like smoking. Very mediocre experience in general. Good placement though. Terrible bed with wacky mattress, uncomfortable to sleep on.

Avoid if you want luggage storageI've stayed here a couple of times before and found it to be fine and had no issues with storing luggage before and after check in/out but I was due to go with my mum next week when she noticed that their website says they don't store luggage. My mum has arthritus and the last thing she needs after travelling is carrying a bag about for hours. She checked this with the reception and was advised they're a small premises so can't do this. I absolutely stored luggage before so I got in touch to ask if this was an error and recieved quite a blunt reply saying we've already been told they don't and we can cancel and get a refund if we want. They also refused to tell me when their policy had changed regarding this.Personally I think luggage storage is a basic neccesity for any hotel/aparthotel and have never had this issue before. We took the refund and can safely say we will be visiting one of your competitiors next week who were shocked when we called to check that they would store our luggage, agreeing that it's ludicrous for somewhere to not offer this. You will absolutely lose business over this and you've lost mine.

Good points- Central Location- Spacious apartments- Lovely, friendly & helpful receptionistBad points- Haphazard and frankly bizarre check-in policy, which was frustrating and time-consuming & ensured I would not re-book or recommend- The management's attitude & treatment of their staff, if they were comfortable being that rude & condescending in front of customers, I dread to think how they behave in private- Very steep staircase, which makes carrying heavy luggage difficult- Limited, expensive parking options, understandable due to the location, but off-putting non the less. The accommodation was fine, neither fantastic nor terrible. I chose the Craibstone Suites based on the location and ease of quick access to the city centre. There are plenty of other options available that don't treat their staff & customers like inconveniences, so unfortunately I cannot recommend you stay here.
