Room was tidy enough, but the bathroom looks like it was fitted and maintained by a five year old, grimy shower, visible damage to bathroom mirror, tiled wall behind toilet, and bath/shower. Also threadbare carpets in the room and the corridor, and an elevator that sounds as if it's on its last legs.Breakfast was alright, bar/restaurant is nice enough, but I won't be coming back here if the management don't renovate the rooms to an acceptable standard

Needed a two night stay in Glasgow but didn't want to spend crazy money on the accomodation because it was only a place to sleep for 2 nights. Found this hotel and the place is great, staff are friendly and welcoming, lift is a bit small but functional, the room was clean and well proportioned. Bathroom was very clean and nice powerful shower. Not a chain hotel experience but it shouldn't have to be this was a perfect little hotel to sleep and recharge ready for the next day. It's an old building where the floors do slope in places and the building does rumble when a lorry or train goes by but it's comfortable and convenient for the station and city.

Great stay for the price point. Staff were absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Stayed for one night as a solo woman traveller and felt plenty safe. Hotel room was a little run down but that doesn't bother me personally. It's a budget friendly option and does the trick!

Nice restaurant. Good food. Lovely place, clean toilets. Great menus. However, no welcome on arrival and no good bye when we left. Also no thanks for large tip. Staff training definitely needed. |I think people should check this restaurant out as it is seemingly. One of the oldest restaurants in Glasgow.

URINE soaked mattress! AVOID! We checked into the hotel, had a quick look round room which seemed ok, dumped bags and left to attend a concert. On returning at midnight got into bed and the sheets were damp.  …

Not a very nice hotel threadbare carpet in the room and corridor. There were chipped tiles on the bathroom floor grotty grout around the bath. Soap dispensers were useless. Dust behind the tv hairs in the bath. List is endless. Very noisy outside I was awake from 5am.Good location for the train station the only plus.

Cheap price especially for the location - which is brilliant. The room was fine. Staff were also nice enough. Main issue was parking as when we booked it, the page said they had parking when we arrived, we found out they didn't. The hotel gets a discount at a nearby parking structure but still not cheap.

Stayed here a few times over the years, usually because of availability close by but never again will I stay here. Year on year it just gets more run down and tatty. …

My stay here was as expected for the price and could honestly not complain. Room was a little tired looking and in need of a makeover but bathroom was clean and bed comfortable. Ideal for 1 or 2 nights and staff were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
