My sister and I stayed at the Glasgow Grosvenor hotel from Oct.12-18th 2024, while part of a CIE Tour called “ Glasgow Day Tripper”. We arrived from Hartford CT on the 12th about 8:30 am. …

We booked a family room. So pleased with it. The hotel is improving since my visit last year. This time the room was cleaned during our stay. The breakfast offering also seems to have improved. The bar staff are lovely and very helpful. …

The location of this hotel on the west end, across the botanical gardens and very good restaurant scene, is amazing, but the facilities left much to be desired. The room would be quaint if it was not for the fact that there was mold on the walls, the plumbing was deficient, all but the shower clogged up. There was construction going on, which woke us up early every morning. The bar closed early by Glasgow's standards, and the television on the room had limited options as there was no cable, so the signal changed depending on the time changing the availability of channels. It could be an amazing facility, but as it stands now, I would not recommend it.

This hotel needs a modernisation program to commence immediately. Everything is tatty and well past its best.No staff available to help with luggage on check in, very few to support issues with lifts.Significant traffic noise from Great Western Road. No air con so if you want to open the window be prepared.Location is excellent.Would not recommend.

Hotel is quite tired looking generally. In the bedroom the headboard was very marked , cupboard doors no soft closures on so awful noise every time you closed. Large dust ball hanging under the sink very visible from the shower.  …

We picked this hotel as it’s advertised as dog friendly. While dogs are allowed at the hotel it certainly couldn’t be classed as dog friendly. …

We had a wonderful stay at this location in June. It sits in a very walkable area near the university and the botanical gardens. If you have business at the university I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location is perfect, it is near good food and even convenience stores. There are rental bikes available nearby that are nice for a pleasant ride through the parks and vicinity attractions as well. The staff were friendly. If we visit Glasgow again, I'm sure we will stay here.
