Stayed one night for the Cardiff Half Marathon. When we travel we bring our dog and always on the look out for good dog friendly hotels, this was one. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Jamie on reception was especially great. They gave us a lovely dog bed and some clean bowls for food and water (we had out own but it's a great touch). Room had AC and comfortable beds. Location is great. If I was to give one criticism it would be the cost of parking (£25) I found parking close by which was cheaper. Great spot for the price.

Dark depressing decor, curtains that stuck and didn't want to close and a breakfast plate so small it was barely a child's portion. …

As a solo traveller I cannot fault this hotel. Very friendly staff, very clean. On arrival they had given me a free upgrade to a superior room which was huge. Good choice of breakfast foods. …

Wow what an amazing hotel.Spent the weekend here for my wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The staff were friendly helpful respectful kind and caring. We stayed in a standard double room which had a massive double bed very clean and tidy and really good size for 2 people. The hotel itself was very clean comfortable and everyone was very friendly. It’s with in walking distance for all on the main shops pubs restaurants and clubs. The only downside was the price you have to pay for parking in the hotel’s carpark but it’s owned by a private company so not really anything to do with the hotel itself. We would definitely recommend this hotel for others to stay in and will definitely want to stay here again.

Rooms are looking tired and in need of a spruce up.Service was poor on check in and check out - check in didn't discuss breakfast times or charging to the room, both of which caused issues when attending breakfast and trying to charge a drink to my room. Not massive issues but a little inconvenient.Check out had one person on and caused a significant queue. Probably took 8-10 mins to check out which, again, isnt a massive issues but not expected. Finally, parking on site not suitable for larger cars, height restrictions of 1.9M.

Horrible hotel, booked here for work and after a long train journey just wanted to sleep. Asked for a quiet room and got put next to the very noisy elevators which were clunking against the wall of my room all night.Asked staff if I could move rooms and they were full apparently.Restaurant was closed when I arrived at 9:30pm.I'd have been more rested if I'd travelled early morning.

This motel should not be ranked as a nice place. Lots of areas for improvement: cleanliness, staff assurance of fixing a couple of problems never fulfilled, very poor quality of repairs/maintenance performed which permit mold/moisture into nonaccessible cavities, provided only two towels.

The whole experience went smoothly. Got there an hour before check in but the room was ready which was great. The lovely member of staff at check in was so friendly and we had a complimentary breakfast which made my day. …

This hotel is in a prime location for shopping or if you are attending a concert at the arena. Rooms are comfortable and staff welcoming. We had a complimentary drink as our room wasn't ready on arrival. Stayed here many times with no issues. Prices vary depending on what's on in the city.

We were attending a concert at the Utilita Arena, so booked here for convenience. Our room was over the loading bay, very noisy at night with vehicles constantly reversing and beeping. The room was stifling and they haven't got air conditioning, just a tiny fan supplied. Also, the beds only had 1 pillow each. Not the best hotel, convenient yes, but not the worst either.
