My partner booked the rooms via Booki g.com. Couldn’t get into property with door codes provided. Advised by passer by who knew of the properties to try the codes at all three properties in the street, which we did. …

AVOUD AT ALL COSTS. Booked a year in advance with Booking.com and upon arrival we were met with a Hostel for the Homeless and no such accommodation existed. …

Booked 10 months in advance and received and email the morning of our stay confirming our booking was all ok. Phoned and left a message stating we’d arrive at 5pm and asked for entry. Phone/emails ignored and booking cancelled while outside

I booked at Mansel for an urgent and a short stay. I didn't check the reviews, cuz I didn't accept them to be that bad. To be fully honest when I read what guests have said about Mansel, I was like what have I put myself into💀. I arrived there thinking that I was going to find difficulty getting into the building, but thank God everything was smooth.Once someone has successfully paid for staying at Mnsel he would receive codes of how to enter the building, and then would be sent further details on what room he will stay in. The place was clean and I didn't smell any cigarettes or other stuff like it was ok. The only thing that was off was that the bed was creaking, but it was okay for a short stay. Also, I guess the place needs to be better at quickly responding to guests and have like a number guests can call them at.

I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading the reviews. However the car park was so easy to find it left confusion as to how people couldn’t clearly see it.Our codes worked perfectly fine and were easy to use. Top tip, hold hand on panel for a few seconds to activate, press the star button after room code is entered and will unlock! Was very easy to figure this out.Room was clean and bed was comfy. The only downside is that the police did visit the property in regards to a domestic issue with other hotel guests. However this can happen anywhere so cannot be of fault of the owners. Just a heads up for anyone with children etc.

the instructions for getting into the room were so unclear that myself, my friend, and several other guests across both houses were stood outside in the rain confused for 20 minutes at least. there is no way to contact the owners directly except for an online chat that they ignored us on for the entire time and actually never got back to us with relevant instructions. the room was absolutely boiling and the people in the kitchen had filled it with smoke. the parking was difficult to find and in the middle of other private parking spots so be careful you don't get yourself a fine. the steps outside had no proper lighting and were very dangerous especially when wet. the bed was broken and sagged in the middle. there were hangers but the wardrobe line had been broken or there simply wasn't one which made no sense. the front door is broken and needs to be slammed very hard to close. the cleaners hadn't replaced the toilet roll in the bathroom so me and my friend only had about 10 squares to last us all night and we couldn't find anymore nor could we contact someone to ask. the whole building needs to be brought to this century and the company needs to open more direct lines of communication. room checks by the owner once cleaners have been in there will avoid the toilet roll situation. update the instructions- the lockbox is NOT the thing on the outside, you have to type your code into the panel on the door. so unclear! absolutely atrocious and will not be staying again.

Booked 2 rooms, 1 smells, maybe too many joints smoked by the precious occupant, the other is facing onto the road, very noisy. Shower works but water escaping from body and held together with a cable tie. Bed is one of those creaky things you see in cowboy films, actually comfortable but wakes the neighbours if you move.Getting into the building /rooms can be fun, uses an electronic keypad, you have to press to wake it up and when it finally decides to light all the buttons (not some, it does that first) you can enter the code.... Very unclear.

Awful experience, have to leave early because I’m appalled. It was a nightmare to enter, we had to wait outside for almost an hour in the cold. No answer to phone calls and the the messaging system kept ignoring and being unhelpful. The neighbour even told us of her issues to enter the building so it is very common.Heating system is of bad quality and stairs are very steep. There is no wardrobe or chair in your room and the shower is ridiculously small. We have decided to even stay elsewhere because the smoking inside and in and out of people leaving the door open feels unsafe.- that is £100 washed down the drain plus extra money to stay elsewhereI would highly NOT RECOMMEND! Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE…unless you want to waste your money and time!

What can I say, extremely clean and not a spec of dust or dirt. Bed was comfy but squeaky. Kitchen had everything you would need to prepare and cook food which was great. Shame there was no microwave, that would have been handy during my stay. Lovely room and peaceful

We were giving the wrong address to begin with. Three doors down from the place we booked. When we finally found the right house it was a nightmare trying to gain access to the property using the digital code. We were followed from the first wrong address to the actual rental house by a man seemingly having the same issue as us but couldn't speak great English he was literally glued to us and clearly trying to see the code we were typing. After returning from our meal in town, I went out to the rear of the building in the smoking area several times and every time I noticed the front door to the property had been left wedged open. I closed it Three times. At around 2 am I heard a noise and realised someone was outside our room door trying to get in. As soon as I got out of bed to see what was going on I heard footsteps running down the stairs, I got dressed and went down to see what was going on only to find the front door wedged open again. I would advise anyone who's thinking of staying here to be very careful when leaving their room unattended because I get the feeling someone with not very good intentions has access and can gain entry to the house and rooms. I'm sure had we been out our room would have been robbed.
