Stayed here this weekend and found it superb, ticking all the boxes for me.I was part of a group taking part in a motorbike competition, there were quite a few of us with a fair bit of stuff, however, it all fitted in safely and securely to the accommodation. The facilities for motorbikes were first rate, there was off street parking for the bikes and even secure wall anchors where bikes could be chained! The room where I stayed had helmet racks and airing racks for kit and boots, what great attention to detailThe star of the show was Sally-Anne our host. She cooked an incredible full English breakfast (with black pudding and tomatoes) at the ridiculously early time we had requested (needed for us to get to the competition). There were also lovely cereals and muesli with yoghurts and fresh fruit. The coffee and tea kept flowing! The beds were comfy, the sheets and towels were wonderfully clean and fluffy, what more could we have asked for after a hard days riding. Thanks Sally-Anne and thanks all for a great stay see you next year

Amazing service from a wonderful host Sally-Anne.Fantastic cooked breakfast and a variety of other cold options, with fresh coffee or tea.The room (No6) was spacious with plenty of room for the 3 adults and all our riding gear.Located by a river with plenty of parking for bikes and cars and a local pub 2mins walk.Would highly recommend and will be visiting again 👍

Would highly recommend staying here at The Old Tredegar. We visited as a group of 14 as we were taking part in a BMW off-roading competition nearby. We stayed in multiple rooms as a group, Sally-Ann the host is absolutely lovely, providing the best service and cooking the most delicious of cooked breakfasts for us all.I personally stayed in Room 1, a room with 4 single beds, an ensuite with a shower, and a basic kitchenette area with a fridge, kettle, microwave and sink. The room is on the second floor with views of the river to the rear of the property. Room was lovely, clean and modern, would definitely recommend others to book here, we will certainly be returning! :)

This was my first solo trip away. I had booked myself on the BMW Off Road Skills training course and I couldn't have wished for anything more. Sally Ann went above and beyond to make my stay perfect in every way. …

Room is next to flowing river. Amazing view.Location is amazing, it's river facing .I booked this as it was mentioned bed and breakfast and there was no option while booking to pay for the breakfast. After I reached there and when I asked for breakfast timings I was told that breakfast is not covered . It needs to be paid separately while booking but that option I couldn't find. Also note that there is no HOB provided so you can't cook anything. It's also single room with 4 beds and inside this room there is a bathroom. This is on first floor, and like this there are 4 rooms in total. Entire flat has 4 rooms and each room is given to separate family so you can hear others voice. If you walk on this floor then it disturbs ground floor. If you can manage all this then rest all is fine with stunning river view

Stayed for 3 nights whilst on a course nearby. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and has some great additional points: a decent selection of DVDs available, tea and coffee available 24 hours (in addition to in the rooms), a comfortable lounge area and a drying room. Breakfast is fantastic too......highly recommended.
