Stayed at Serendipity Lodge recently. The lodge is a proper home from home with everything that is required, we found it thoroughly clean & very well presented, including a little welcome hamper of goodies. The owners, Angela & Steve also operate a little wine stash, to be replenished if used, should 'that' emergency occur. The beds & lounge furnishings are very comfy, two bathrooms, all linen provided & a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances & utensils. We received fantastic communication from the owners beforehand, on our journey there & during our stay - not intrusive, just checking things were OK. Although we did not need to call on them at all, they are off-site but nearby if required. There is WiFi in the lodge which is very handy as mobile phone signals can be iffy / none existent in that area, however with a modern smartphone WiFi calls can easily be made, along with other social media if you need to remain in touch. Currently you have to take your own books, cards, games but Steve forewarned us of that beforehand & mostly that is how we entertained ourselves during the evenings. For a second week in October I would certainly say that the lodge was a very good value for money staycation. & I really hope that the owners can continue to provide their service.Heritage Park is a very peaceful setting on the site of an old iron works, a lot of the buildings remains are still evident. Nearly all the lodges appear quite new, they park is very neatly presented & is just lodges - no clubs, no shops, no take-aways but with that you do get peace & quiet. There is a small play area for younger children very nearby but with adult supervision required as it is next to a stream. There is a completely level walk from the lodge via an old tramway that gets you to the coast which is just about a mile to Wiseman's Bridge where there is a good pub that serves food. A further mile & half to the right along the coastal path will get you into Saundersfoot via three tunnels - all leftovers from the original tramway from the old iron works. There are plenty of other footpaths on the doorstep. In the Easterly direction the coastal path with get you to Amroth but that route is more of an up & over with spectacular sea views. Get the car out & further afield there is 'Wales' & it is beautiful! Fantastic beaches, views & history literally on the doorstep. Oh, & should you just happen to get up in the middle of the night whilst it is cloudless, step onto the veranda & take in the stars - way more than the big cities have to offer.

Stayed recently with a group of friends and a baby. Very clean and well presented with plenty of space of all guests.Would highly recommend for a self-catering break away as all key amenities are available to you.For those who know the area, it's a 20 minute walk to the coastline (Wiseman's Bridge) and further short walk into Saundersfoot. For those who don't or for those looking for a new activity or walk, the guides available at the lodge are very well detailed and cover a wide variety of interests.

We stayed here in May 2021 and it was excellent, very well presented and in an excellent location. The owners are fantastic and really make you feel this is your home for the holiday period. Absolutely top class for a relaxing holiday in a beautifully presented holiday park. It was so good we immediately booked for 2022 and have just completed our holiday which was again superb.
