Massive renovations have been undertaken at the old Castle Hotel, now rebranded Y Castell. I took five friends to have dinner one Monday night, very few restaurants offer dinner before a Wednesday in this area, it was so good we came back the following night! Looking forward to having lunches and more in the future. Lovely hosts and the prices are reasonable for such delicious food.I haven’t commented on the rooms as I’m not sure if they’re offering accommodation just yet and we simply went for dinner.Good luck to the new owners. How wonderful to have a new venue for our little village.

An easy and friendly welcome greets you from the team behind the newly renovated Castle Hotel. We had a very tasty and substantial meal from the menu and took advantage of several of the daily specials. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and lots of choice for vegetarians and gluten intolerant which is great to see. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Warm (lovely log burner), very welcoming and helpful, dog allowed to snuggle up by the fire, perfect pint of ale and delicious, well cooked and portioned Sunday roast, all in a newly refurbished and well presented pub surrounded by beautiful countryside. What's not to like?
