This place is an absolute haven! the site owner was absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here! The site is peaceful, we had a hard standing pitch with electric, it was perfect! The facilities here are immaculately maintained, everything is clearly sign posted. We would certainly stay here again!

The son warmly greeted us upon arrival. Later, his mum came to introduce herself and was pleasant to chat to.Toilets/showers ok, very drab grey painted breeze blocks, this included floor/walls/ceiling & floor in cubicle & surroundingareas. Nothing welcoming about the showers what so ever. Nowhere to place items whilst showering other than hooks for clothes, bearing in mind these are wet rooms, no cubicles. In the shower, there was a basket to place shower gel, etc. There was also a stool, handbasin & toilet in the room. I took a bath mat with me to stand on as the floor was cold, looked grubby & not very welcoming. The cold/drab appearence could have been because of the grey paint everywhere. However, they were clean. The water was scalding hot and difficult to control the temperature. I was showering when all of a sudden the water turned icy cold. I wouldn't recommend letting children use showers unsupervised due to the extremely hot water. The water pressure was excellent. There was an outside washing up area for dishes, not sure if there was hot water as we didn't use it.There wasn't anything to wash toilet disposal area if a spillage occurred. The site in itself was quiet with large hardstanding pitches besides grass pitches. There are plenty of electric hookups. The owner often took her sit on mower around the site, but the grass could have been mown shorter, especially during the very wet weather the UK is experiencing this yr.The cost per night with electric was approximately £30.00. Would expect better for this amount.
