Wanted a local stop with a few better options than the standard pub. Exceptionally nice dining room, wonderful traditional decoration and feel. Coq au Van was well cooked and sauced, veggies ok, nice desert options. Did need a reservation on the weekend, but Monday we just had an empty room for the most part. Good local cider options

I traveled with my friend all the way from Llandudno and we were looking for a nice place to eat. It was truly an unforgettable dining experience - each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, and the service was excellent. Also, they serve the best leek potato soup in the whole world. I travel a lot, but that was truly the best meal I’ve ever had and I’m not even kidding!
