Our first visit for the set seasonal Sunday lunch. We were welcomed into the dining room made cosy by an effective wood burner. The food was all beautifully cooked and tasty. We will definitely be back before long. Thanks.

Rooms are basic and were cold. I suspect there may be damp issues at foot as the rooms are in an extension with a flat roof. A door between the shower and bathroom would t have gone a miss. The TV would be better wall mounted at the foot of the bed as trying to watch at 90 degrees to the bed is tiring.Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Worth a visit and hope this venture takes off for them. Not sure I’d stay again though.

Evening Meal.....What a delight it was to experience the evening dining menu. Beautifully presented and quite delicious along with wonderful service. Will 100% return to try more perfectly made dishes. Will also try the bar menu sometime and may even take advantage of the take away option for a lazy supper!

We had a really lovely lunch today, the chef/owner was very welcoming and introduced us to the menus. The wine list was interesting with good choices. The mackerel was very fresh with a light marinade; the home made ham hock and the heritage mixed tomato starters were very tasty. The whole meal was a treat in their lovely dining room, recently refurbished. We had a great experience and will certainly return. Thank you.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the newly renovated bathroom was a delightful touch. The beds were very comfortable. Kevin and his wife were incredibly friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance of being helpful without being intrusive. Their small family business exudes warmth and charm. There is an on-site pub and restaurant. The classic English breakfast was a real treat, prepared especially for us with fresh, local ingredients sourced from the neighboring farms. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay a flawless experience. The inn is nestled in a charming and peaceful little village, providing the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and would recommend a stay at Kevin and his wife’s to anyone, whether it's for a beer, a fancy dinner, or a night at the Inn.
