Took the family for dinner to celebrate mum’s birthday. The food was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully presented and very flavoursome. The dining room is very cosy and tastefully decorated and the staff were lovely. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

Had a brilliant evening meal from the October special set menu. Good choices and very reasonably priced. All the food was exceptionally good and the service and surroundings were faultless. So good to find such a gem so close to home. Highly recommended.

We wanted to treat ourselves to a nice evening meal during our holiday and were glad to have found Picton House. Our starters, mains and dessert were all delicious and well presented. We felt the prices were appropriate for the quality of the food. The staff were friendly and the place has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. We will certainly eat at Picton House again if we're in the area.

Stayed in June and back again as couldn’t fault it . Great staff and friendly service . Lots of locals in the bar added to great ambience . food in restaurant was excellent in the evening with as well as at breakfast . Great location with lots to explore locally

Fabulous afternoon tea at Picton as always hosts and staff fabulous and nothing is to much. All food was lovely and fresh. Would highly recommend not just afternoon tea but all of the menu. Sunday lunch is excellent but themed events are excellent.

My daughter was in hospital in Glangwilli hospital, looked for a nice place to stay and found the Picton House . Called last min and Holly fitted me in , was late arriving due to my daughter opp and traffic . Nothing was a problem was shown my room while outside having a drink Holly even went out of her way to make me a late evening meal after the chef had left . Room was 1st class and the morning staff were great. Breakfast was brilliant . Will stat again amd would reccomed . Nice location . Keepnup the good work 👏

What a find. Warm friendly greating & their hospitality is spot on.They were just changing their menu but were happy to adapt things too, not that we required them to.The food was delicious, homemade and the portion size was fantastic. It was very good value.They are undergoing renovation of additional accommodation which looks beautiful too.

Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea , we sat out side to have a drink before being shown to our very well presented table.Ordered our pot of tea and coffee, the food came out on beautiful home made vintage tea stands. Macaroons, brownies, mini Victoria sponges , fruit tartlets , beautifully fresh scones with jam & cream finished off with a beautiful homemade tiramisu.On a large board we had 4 sandwiches each . smoked salmon & cream cheese , egg mayo , ham & tomatoes , chicken mayo. All made on soft fresh bread . Definitely a lovely treat and we really enjoyed . Highly reccomended 🥰. I will definitely be booking in for the next one , maybe with a bottle of prossecco next time .
