Wow what a place,so firstly if you go there on a Sunday with your kids and they don't eat Sunday dinner,(like mine who got learning problems)then they basically won't eat nothing as thats all they do on a Sunday (no wear on the website it states that)the Pepsi was flat and the food was cold the mash was lumpy and the veg was hard the cauliflower cheese looked like it was swimming in oil,it's a big fat no from us

We went here for a meal as a group of 7. The service was amazing. The lady was very helpful, kind and good to talk to. The food was amazing and portion sizes were very large. The location was amazing with views of the dock. I would definitely recommend visiting here.

This pub was able to accommodate 7 adults and 2 children immediately when called for a reservation. The food and hospitality was amazing. Excellent food choice, portion size and good value for money. Would definitely recommend. The land lady was also very kind and considerate.

We enjoyed a delicious meal from a menu with something for everyone. The curries and chili were very tasty, but the beef strips with chili dip appetizer was astonishingly good!The atmosphere was great and the service was stellar. What a wonderful evening!

The room was great and the bed was very comfortable, room had a mini fridge with milk, water, apple juice, orange juice I was also given a mixed melon fruit box.The kitchenette was great to serve yourself in the mornings or to take breakfast to work.The pud and meals in the evening were great and mike gave me a great deal.It's also well located for exploring the area.I will definitely stay here again when I'm passing through.

We recently stayed at this inn in Wales for two days, and it was a fantastic experience. The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Came for an evening meal, was absolutely brilliant food. Would recommend the garlic mushrooms to start and the seafood pasta for main! Good value for money and decent portion sizes too! Service was good and staff were helpful. Would definitely come again.

We happened upon this lovely pub/restaurant today by chance. We are in the area on a holiday with my parents and had been out enjoying a relaxed day visiting a castle and market and decided to look for somewhere for lunch. First we were turned away from a restaurant closer to town, we found the Shipwright on Google with a 10 min walk and took a chance. Upon arrival we were met by a couple locals leaving with their takeaway carvery. I asked if could fit a table of 5 and within seconds we were sitting at table 2 awaiting drinks. We had a mixture of carvery meals ordered and soon on our way to choose our vegetables. All was superb, even chose and ate the crispy parsnips and I hate parsnips, couldn't fault a thing. Both ladies (possibly mother and daughter) were delightfully pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. To us the place felt a little off the beaten track and had a constant flow of pre booked customers which is always a good sign. Thank you so much for fitting us in last minute. Made our day.
