Excellent overnight fishing accommodation and convenient for the Tywi. Managed 3 hours early morning before returning for a fabulous breakfast at 9.30am. Big lounge to watch the best footy game of the Euros on my own with my chilled cider from their fridge. Will return when the salmon start running.

This place is charming, characterful, very well presented for a period property, peaceful and you should really stay here.I had a couple of nights here and the stay totally rejuvenated me.So unbelievably quiet and homely. I could stay a week here without hesitation. No WiFi but that's fine as it was great to escape for a couple of days. The architecture is wonderful, full of character. The rooms and lounge area very well presented and comfortable. The local area is a haven for wildlife and there are lots of areas to walk. It is also within a short journey to lots of local highlights such as Brecon and the coast.Old fashioned but in tip top condition... we'll done to the owners for such a great B&B

This was a beautiful estate, but very creepy. There was no one else staying in the mansion when we went and no cell service. There was advertised wi-fi, but there was no network when we went to look. Our toilet did not flush, bathroom light did not work, shower water would go from extremely cold to burning hot very fast. Bed was like plywood. We only stayed one night when we were supposed to stay for three.

Pros:|Beautiful setting off the beaten track. I felt like this was the home of an ancient family with the amazing stone walls and old buildings (and owlery).  …

It was an absolute privilege to stay here and experience living in a bygone age. The house is warm and comfortable and the hosts are incredibly laid back and welcoming. You can really unwind here, peace & quiet, no TV’s and no light pollution so on a clear night you can see the stars.
