The hotel consists of three houses, close to the beach, unusual but it works. Fantastic suite, very luxurious, bright and light too. The staff were really professional and friendly, we felt looked after. We had dinner in the restaurant which we all enjoyed.

It’s a shame you’re limited to 5 stars - this should be 6! An absolutely stunning hotel where every single person we met made us feel right at home and super welcome. The rooms are stunning with really comfy beds. Mara, the restaurant, is out of this world good. The new head chef is a culinary magician - every single thing we ate was out of this world delicious. Durnoch beach at sunrise is something else - very accessible with a short easy walk through the links golf course next door. We are already booking our next trip.

Me and my partner decided to have a last minute trip to dornoch and booked a table for dinner here. The food here is absolutely amazing. I have never tasted such amazing food in my life. Could not recommend this place more. The rooms are stunning. After our meal we have a couple of drinks in the library. We will definitely be back.

Wow, wow, wow!!!!! We were unlucky that we only had one night at this incredible hotel as we were completing the NC500 but I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels that I have stopped in (and I have stopped in the Ritz)The hotel’s attention to detail is incredible!! If you’re in the Dornoch, Links House is not to be missed. Even if you’re not a golfer, you marvel at the location of the hotel next door to the Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Proximity to the beach is also unparalleled. The suites are beautiful & the tranquility of your surroundings make for a perfect stay.

Beautiful! A few steps from the beach and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club, this hotel is beautiful. It’s like walking into a stately mansion. Multiple living spaces beautifully decorated. Imagine sitting in your smoking jacket with your pipe and a snifter of brandy. Now you’ve got the idea. Lovely grounds. Pip the proprietor was delightful. The room was lovely.

Truly an exceptional hotel. Location near the golf club, beach and town is perfect. The room (we had the Mallart Suite) was spacious and finished with such attention to detail. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We dined in Mara every night and the food was Michelin level dining. We randomly found this hotel by searching Google maps and now we are already talking about the next visit we’ll make which will be a much longer stay to enjoy the hotel and its surrounding area. Thank you for making our visit so special.
