We stopped here for afternoon tea after hiking the aqueduct trail and it was the best decision! The tea and scones were perfect, the service was immaculate, and the views were fantastic. Literally can’t recommend this place enough :)

The place is quiet and has stunning views over the loch.If you like Scottish style (which I do), the old-fashioned decoration and rooms are perfect. The old side gives a lot of charm even if the exterior building deserves to be refreshed and it is cold in the dining room. The reception is average. We arrive with 3 suitcases and difficulty opening the door; the hostess doesn't get up and ask us if we need help. The same goes for going up the 2 floors. I didn't particularly want her to bring up our suitcases but at least ask us if it would be okay, if only to show interest. The evening meal is good but a little expensive.Breakfast was very good.I recommend for the atmosphere and comfort of the rooms.

Unloved and expensive. Staff were pleasant enough and accommodating. Apparently the hotel has had a recent refurb. Shame they didn’t look to enhance the outside and entrance area! The owners need to have a word with the company managing it.
