Impressive older hotel that looks like at one time had a great view of the port, sadly now looks out over fishing transport depot. Our 4th floor room was large and very clean and did have a limited loch view. Breakfast was good.. Did not eat dinner here so can't comment. The Staff were friendly and helpful.

Dramatic hotel that looks like it once commanded a great view of the port, sadly now a large lorry park. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was good, although quite a limited choice. Did not eat dinner here so can't comment.

Lovely place right by the harbour. Super friendly and helpful staff.. Plenty of locals and fishermen in the bar. ||Big hotel with high ceilings and comfortable rooms. The room with the bath in is wonderful. ||Great selection of whisky behind the bar and they pour a really really good Guinness 👍

Large historic building, purportedly dating back to the 1790s. Rooms were an adequate size, but a little room down and the standard double bed was disappointing in 2024. Service was attentive and friendly, and the evening meal in the bar and the full breakfast were both executed well.

Stayed for one night. Room was clean and nice. Room very large with chairs and table, bathroom had what was needed. Excellent heater which was great. Breakfast was about right size with cereals toast tea and full cooked include in tarriff

Nice comfortable room with electric shower in en suite. Lovely bar where evening meals served. Nice prawn cocktail and sweet potato soup with coconut milk and chilli flakes. Excellent local venison burger with chips and salad. Spot on Scottish breakfast. Ok temperature for Scots. Cool for Yanks, get real!

Just back from a four day break at The Culag Hotel it wasfantastic Ken and Sheila were the perfect hosts I take my hatoff to Sheila for providing such a good breakfast it was beautifully presented and plenty on the plate the evening mealswere just as good very tasty I have nothing but praise.The roomswere very clean and very comfortable and had a nice smell.I can'twait to go back.

We visit Lochinver each year and always pop in to the Culag for a couple of meals and drinks. Lovely home cooked food, and really friendly staff and locals. Staff and owner happy to chat. We like sitting in the lounge area behind the bar to eat, as it has a nice Highlands hotel atmosphere! Very dog friendly too.
