I like how they’ve switched off reviews on their website and Facebook! Staff was rude on arrival got to the room and curtain rail hanging off the wall as was the coat hooks, Tc didn’t work neither did the side lights on the wall, the ‘bathroom’ has a port a loo feel to it’ went back down to speak to staff but they had disappeared (I wonder why!) I emailed pictures to them when I complained and they deny everything. Honestly if your considering this hotel (or the star next door where you have to check in to stay at the globe 🙈) save yourself the money and sleep in your car it will be cleaner and more comfortable

Absolutely disgusting. Room smelt like a sewage plant. Hotel staff are rude. Wouldn’t recommend. Wouldn’t refund either. Left the hotel and lost out on our evening out as no where else to stay. Hotel was like a hostel

The rooms are awful, outdated and the bathrooms were similar to what you see in a cheap budget horror movie, but above all else is the service staff. Rude and utterly unnecessary, condescending and volatile! Avoid this hotel, unless you enjoy being berated by a pint sized angry receptionist with napoleon syndrome

The rooms they show on the site was nothing like we had. It's dated floors creeks so you can hear every one in their rooms. On suite is a plastic room with no room to stand and wash as such. I will not be going back

I would highly recommend not staying at this “hotel”. Upon entry, we noticed the discolouration of the floors and were taken aback by how dated the interior of the room was. My partner noticed some stains on the pillows, duvet cover and bottom sheet. The towels were old and hard, one was even bleach stained, another was so old that the stitching at the hem was unravelling. The bathroom, if we could call it such, is a cupboard. We checked out early as we found one too many issues with the place. We made the man at the reception aware of the circumstance as to why we were checking out. He seemed not to care much and it was our impression that he had heard such complaints before. He stated we could not receive a refund and simply took our hotel keycard back. The service was unfortunately subpar. For the price we paid, it would have been much more pleasurable to stay at a Premier Inn … unfortunately, they were fully booked. I wouldn’t waste your money in the place!
