Host unwelcoming and rude. Double en-suite small but adequate. Twin room very small with no wardrobe. Would not recommend as I felt we were intruding on host and did not feel comfortable. Parking also a problem ||On the upside it is very handy for castle and her cooked breakfast enjoyable

We have just had overnight stay at the Hedingham Old Pottery guest house to attend a wedding at Hedingham Castle. The location is perfect as is only a 2 minute walk to the main entrance to the castle grounds. …

Penny and myself had 3 really enjoyable nights stay and the breakfasts were super The proprietor is a lovely person and we were very fortunate to choose this lovely place in a nice village location.Should we visit Castle hedingham in the future it would be our " go to " accommodation. Period furniture and a massive comfy bed.👌

We stayed here 12/9/20 - it was a 50th birthday present treat for me & my husband tagged along(!) - our chance to escape our 3 teenagers for the night! Our stay was delayed for 3 months due to Covid-19. …
