We didn’t even stay it was so bad. The pictures are not representative of the state of the rooms. We booked a “superior” two bedroom apartment. It is cramped, out of date, poorly maintained with chipped glass table toppers, paintwork chipped and scratched, stains on the carpets. We were offered an “upgrade” with the same very poor quality of care and attention in two alternates - neither were an acceptable standard. It is “their policy” not to refund but as it’s their policy they can run it how they wish. A red flag should also be that when you arrive they want a £500 security deposit. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Much much better for less money in London.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mayfair House in London, it exceeded my expectations honestly. The online reservation was easy, the 24 hr reception was friendly and super responsive. I LOVED the aquarium they have at the entrance, and there was an elevator. The room was basically an apartment, included everything we needed, and was clean. The daily housekeeping was a plus, something Airbnb doesn't provide. Did I mention location!!! We were happy and would visit again. Thanks to all the staff!

Hotel apartments designated for Gulf and Arab families. Honestly, wonderful reception and daily cleaning of the rooms. I rented an apartment from them consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a hall, and a kitchen. All the equipment is in the apartment, including daily towels, soap, shampoo, and water. The bathrooms also have a bidet for ablution, and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, a dishwasher, and an automatic washing machine for clothes with drying and internet. It's okayI thank everyone from Brother Youssef, Brother Abdullah, Brother Walid, and Sister Zainab for the good reception, service, and treatment.I highly recommend staying at this hotelIts location is very close to Piccadilly Street and the Saudi Embassy in London, and there are cafes and restaurants next to the hotelGreetings, Salman Abu Saad

The management of the apartments has become very bad. I booked three bedrooms on the third floor and they gave me an apartment considered underground, blocking the soul, the transmission in it is weak, and the Wi-Fi has not been working. It has been down for a month and they told me it was down yesterday ☹️, and now we are in the process of filing a complaint with Tourism and Booking.

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel in London. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the poor condition of the property. The furniture was stained and filthy, and the walls were covered in smudges and sticky splatter marks all over. Dishes that had been put away were dirty. The small laundry unit in our rental ruined an entire load of laundry by dyeing our clothes, and when we approached the front desk for assistance, we were blamed for mixing the clothes, which was clearly not the issue.The towels had a strong mildew smell, and there was no WiFi or television available for our entire stay. Dirty sponges were left in our room, adding to the overall unsanitary conditions. Despite our attempts to work with management over four days to resolve these issues, no effort was made to address our concerns or offer a resolution.We spend a lot of time traveling and recommending accommodations to our family and friends, but this experience was a complete letdown. We feel that we wasted our money and were deeply saddened by the lack of care and attention from the hotel staff. We strongly advise looking elsewhere for a better experience.

There is a lot to be said. First sign that this was going to be trouble was the fact that I could not cancel this reservation well over six months in advance without the property wanting to charge me for the full stay. This was like I said, the for sign that this property was trouble because why not be allowed to cancel with so much anticipation? Then the actual stay. Grant it, I am comparing this stay to other apartment style hotels. So, not enough toiletries were provided for our entire family to wash at least once. We asked for extra soap and were denied. No facial tissues. No lotion. No paper towels. A sign noted that using their towels to remove makeup would incur a charge, but no black towels to remove makeup were provided. No wifi. Yes, you read that right. No internet. No TV. Again. No TV. AC did not cool, so sweaty evenings. There is a washing machine. Again, no detergent was provided. The king size bed has a huge gap in the middle because it’s actually two twin size beds put together.Do yourself a favor. Do not book this place.

We had our afternoon tea here. It was very good, the servers very extremely friendly and polite. We even got a little birthday cake for my husband. Thank you very much!|Products were fresh and good, Champagne was excellent. We had a very comfortable seat.

Not worth it! BEWARE of dwindling prices!AVOID booking this property in advance! They change prices for their apartments according to their mood! First we saw this property for £450/night. Few days later the price dropped to £370/night for the basic apartment, so we thought its a good deal and we booked it 1.5 months in advance from our travel date since it was the onset of travel season. 10-15 days later their super deluxe/executive apartment which was two grades higher was available for £300 per night! Imagine paying an exorbitant price for a basic apartment while just few days later the same property is offering their better apartments for so much less! Also its definitely not worth even that much! The towels STINK! Even though they give you towels everyday… they have a really bad stench! There is no light in the bathing area, so you step in the bathtub, close the curtains and its all dark! The bedroom is so small you can only mount the bed from one side, there are NO AMENITIES..I dont know what they are charging so much for! The whole vibe of the apartment is really shady! Also be prepared they ask for £300-1000 security as well on arrival!

I stayed here with 2 other families so all together 3 units (2 bedrooms unit) between dates of 12-18 Feb 2024. I had initially chosen the hotel based on location and size of unit, which is still good size for family of 4. However, the stayed started out negatively with no running hot water (7c outside) and once the shampoo and issue ran out, we were told that this was NOT a hotel but a serviced apartment and we had to pay for shampoo and tissue (Facial & Toilet). The hotel deco and outfit is rather outdated while location, although in Mayfair, leave alot to desire as there were just alot homeless around. Had this place in other location we would reconsider our review but over all it was a disappointment. Compliments however goes to a senior older hotel manager (He was very friendly and tried to help) while the junior staffs were combative and refused to listen and just want to talk to state their case, no sense of service mind at all.

Another excellent month spent at Mayfair House. Darine and Joseph on the front desk looked after every need and all the staff were very nice and everything was just right. We are returning again for a month in March 2024.

This hotel is far from being a 5 stars. The is no room service. Furniture is old. Cleaning level is not up to the 5 stars hotel standards. House keeping is poor. There is no “ don’t disturb “ sign. So the will knock the door once and will open it without the guest permission. If you are awake or not they will come inside. I tried to till the reception staff but he didn’t care. There was no in house laundry. So they sent my clothes outside and they came back in bad situation and i had to throw them! Not recommended at all.
