Lovely to be back at this fantastic family-run small country house hotel. The service and food provided by Wendy and Katrina was superb again. The house was cosy warm, clean and so comfortable. The Oakwood Park Hotel is a little bit heaven just a short distance from the town centre of Brampton. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. The level of service from Katrina and her team was exceptional. We wanted to stay longer, but had to continue our Coast to Coast cycle along Hadrian's Way (route 72).

Over the summer, I was hiking Hadrian's Wall with friends, and this was by far my favorite place we stayed! It felt like we had been transported into a perfect wonderland! I would recommend this place to everyone!!

A step back in time with everything you could ask for.There was a boot polish box, sewing kit, toothbrush, flannel etc, too many things to remember. All you would need is a change of clothes.Beds were super comfy and pillows ideal.Menu was to die for, the choice omg where to start.Food was exceptional, no trouble for Wendy for picky eaters, she went above and beyond to meet our requirements. Excellent.

I felt like I had stepped back in time when I entered Oakwood Park hotel. Set in beautiful grounds, it was once a private home, then had a stint as a hospital during the first world war and has been a hotel since the 1980s. Owned and managed by a mother and daughter team, our huge room and ensuite bathroom were gorgeous. Tea and coffee available and lovely bath products. The evening meal and breakfast were enjoyable.
