North West Lodge Guest House

I enjoyed my time at the North West Guest House. I stayed in the property’s single room for a week, and I would stay again.Like other reviews mention, the interior of the guest house is super clean. Because of that, the place is made to feel very inviting. The guest house was also made to smell very nice, which I personally appreciated.I was only semi-familiar with the local area the guest house was in, but I found it to be interesting and vibrant. Customers are given the opportunity to check themselves quickly into and out of the guest house, which is a time saver. I had a small issue with checking in - but I am a renowned klutz!A lot of houses in London like the North West Guest House have been converted into multiple occupancy dwellings of some kind. There is usually a smaller room in these types of properties located above the main entrance of the building. They are usually single rooms. The North West Guest House is no different.I believe that its single room is too small to be used in a guest house situation. It’s essentially a box room. There is no space to hang up one’s clothes. There are a lot of provisions in the room, like a cute, effective kettle, a desk, a chair, a chest of drawers. However, there is no space left to open one’s suitcase or comfortably entertain a guest, for example. A small sink in the room would’ve been welcomed.During my stay, the single room’s TV couldn’t receive a few terrestrial channels, but it had Netflix and Amazon Prime ready for use. I throughly enjoyed staying in and being a couch potato some nights! It was great. I could even browse the internet via the room’s TV.On a side note, I had issues with other guests at the property, who sadly were not always as accommodating. Some of them were very territorial over the shared bathroom area (which was bigger than my single room!). Every time I entered the bathroom to fill the single room’s kettle with water for boiling, it seemed to irritate certain house guests. This made my visit uncomfortable and awkward, because I needed water.For some reason, during the night time certain guests staying downstairs seemed to delight in filling the upstairs area with the smell of the house’s drainage system, which apparently hadn’t been tended to in a while. The smell was VILE.The owner of the guest house swiftly arrived at the property to address the issue after I told her about it. But even now, I can still recall the smell. Hopefully, no one else will encounter the other guests who stayed with me during my time at the guest house. They seemed like very negative, sad and damaged souls who enjoyed creating environmental problems and audible disturbances.My stay at the property reminded me of the importance of having my own bathroom facilities, whenever my budget allows.

Delightful room with a beautiful window, very clean, very tidy, very friendly. Very happy to have found it - and on such a busy weekend!

So glad we found this guest house. Beautiful clean modern room including a kettle , fridge, microwave and smart TV! Exceptional value for money so close to wembley stadium, which can be seen through the houses opposite, it was a super hot day but we found the room to be cool . Simple check in process also. We can't wait to return!

Very clean and in the room: a fridge, microwave and kettle. I stayed in a single room shared bathroom. 15 min walk to Jubilee line.
