Island View Room 1

A truly lovely Chalet cabin near to the sea edge on the stunning Isle of Skye.As we arrived our host was arriving home too although the Chalet was already open for our arrival. Our host Peter was very friendly & chatty and had two beautiful dogs, one of which was a Sausage Dog puppy. It was the cutest thing ever!The chalet itself was super modern, super well equipped and extremely warm which was very welcome on the cold wet day that we arrived.The bed was amazingly comfortable, the walk in shower hot and refreshing with an overhead jet and a hand held one too. A two seater sofa and a two seater dining table offered living and dining area options.There was a microwave, Toaster and Kettle. The host's however did request no cooking to be done in the Chalet, I assumed they meant portable stoves etc and even though we did have a plug in Vegetable Steamer we thought best not to use it out of respect.Had the weather have been better, we would have run out an extension lead & used the Steamer on the deck area outside.Our host's had provided some bread, milk, orange juice, cakes, biscuits and fruit which was most kind.There were some cutlery, plates, cups etc enough for two people.We did take a little walk to the Sea edge when the weather subsided a little and the views were absolutely stunning.We have visited the Isle of Skye three times now and we will visit many times again.I would not hesitate to recommend Island View Chalets, there are only two of them though so book well in advance. I assure you will not be disappointed. We will most definately book there again. Thankyou for our most enjoyable stay

The accommodation is simply fantastic. The view is fantastic and the host is very nice. The rooms are very spacious, there is an extra sofa, a small kitchenette and a dining area. You can spend a few days here and simply unwind. There is nothing I can complain about. We would like to come again.

A very nice place to spend a few nights. Very remote area with poor phone reception. Area is lovely and very raw. Fantastic! Cabin is spacious with a great shower and a warm host to welcome you.

What an amazing spot for a break, perfect accommodation for the two of us, the breakfast items and welcome pack were excellent. The host was great and gave a great welcome along with his dog, chickens and cockerel. The view was superb looking out over the sea with stunning sunsets and perfect light for photography. Can't recommend staying here enough, we will definitely be back.
