My daughter has already posted a review, which I fully endorse. I am the person who was told to unceremoniously "move". Very rude lady and very uninviting. Her husband however, was actually really nice. I absolutely won't be back. Felt like we had just entered the twilight zone.

A bit of a weird experience really. Nipped in on a Sunday as hardly anywhere else open. Bought some expensive takeaway coffee and cakes while being subjected to the most passive aggressive hospitality I've ever experienced. Disagreeing with everything we said and just general sighing and moaning about Skye, the weather, the scenery, her aches and pains, etc. Giving us instructions on how to pour our coffee as if we were daft.I almost asked if she'd prefer we just left. She also told my mother to 'move' when she was trying to pay the bill too. I'm sorry your mobility isn't great but it isn't the fault of paying customers, and while you might be having a bad day - your customers (i.e. strangers) don't know this and there's no reason to speak to people like that. To be honest, I was a bit taken aback and had I been more awake, I'd probably have told her to shove her coffee and cakes. The gentleman who made the coffee and cakes was nice, as were his paintings and photos.Location is nice. Vans will struggle to get into the carpark.Couldn't leave quick enough. Weird.

We visited the cafe for a quick snack. The operator is really very warm and tells you a lot of interesting facts about the Isle of Skye but also personal things. She does it all with a lot of heart and you can feel it. Her husband is cooking in the kitchen. The dishes are homemade with vegetables from the garden. There are also very nice pictures to buy - which the operator took himself. It was a very nice experience where you got to meet the locals. Any time!

Wonderful Café by the road we stumbled upon after being stranded in the area with a flat tire and no mobile reception. The owners were our saviors and treated us with excellent coffee (you can choose from a variety of beans) and cake. You can also buy beautiful greeting cards and photo prints. Highly recommended!

We were in the holiday apartment in 2013, everything was still pretty new and the café wasn't finished yet. I still remember how beautiful it was...
