returned to Barabhaig for Christmas. We had an excellent stay. The cottage has all you need apart from a view from inside the cottage. This is the only downside as its a traditional cottage. Could do with updating the kitchen. If you like to be secluded in a picturesque setting this is the place for you.

We stayed here for a weekend and loved it! The accommodation is so cosy, comfortable bed and in a stunning area of Skye.|Dave gave us brilliant tips for parking for our long walks which helped us each day. We weren’t able to have a cooked breakfast but Dave gave us a discount which we were very grateful for.|We’ll be back next year :)

An exceptionally warm welcome from Emma and Dave into their beautiful home. A comfortable room with a hearty breakfast - although to be offered a variety would have been preferred as we were staying for 3 nights. The location is truly out of this world and was a gem of a find.

We had a great weekend visiting David and Emma's B and B. Very friendly and welcoming people. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean and had amazing views out over the water and mountains. They also cook a fantastic breakfast in the morning and give great advice on places to go and visit on the island. It also comes at very good value for your money.

If you want a roof over your head then fine, but at the price paid I would expect Wi-Fi that worked, a land line phone, lights that work, a clean kitchen, an oven that worked properly, a defrosted freezer and a working washing machine. Someone is clearly not doing their job maintaining this property, it is a far cry from luxury, just try laying down on the sofas without rolling off.The road there is a bit rough to say the least, but some of the many potholes were getting patched up while we were there.Nice views.
