Our best accommodation during our self-drive tour in Scotland last June! Maureen is an eminently friendly and natural person with whom it is very pleasant to interact. We only spent one night in his house with its authentic and comfortable charm, in a calm and relaxing environment (not far from Coral beach) but this stay will remain an excellent memory for us. Nothing to do with the 'minimum service' reception of other bnbs.

Maureen is a very nice and friendly host who welcomed us with open arms. The rooms are very modern and very clean. There are fresh flowers throughout the property. The whole house is furnished with love. Great secluded location with a short walk to Coral Beach. The breakfast was delicious. There are hot dishes freshly prepared by Maureen, as well as a large selection of different delicacies. We will definitely come back!!!

Thank you Maureen for the great stay!The accommodation is located very far outside of Dunvegan (20 minutes 2.5 miles drive on a single trail "road", which should be driven slowly and not with caravans!) in a quiet location in the middle of nowhere.But what awaits you there is simply fantastic!The rooms and bathrooms are new, stylishly furnished and invite you to relax and linger.The hostess is also a very nice and accommodating woman!Please note that there is nothing out there to go shopping or eat out, so take the opportunity to do so beforehand, otherwise you will have to make the journey there and back!We also enjoyed the beach (30 minutes on foot) and had a nice chat with other guests over breakfast.Even though the road is an adventure, we would come back any time!Thank you and see you soon 😊

A pleasant surprise!House located just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Coral Beach, has been completely and recently renovated, maintaining the typical architecture of the region, very comfortable, silent, extremely clean and well cared for, as well as showing small details in the decoration that show the affection in welcoming .From the beginning of contact through Airbnb, it was a pleasure to talk to the owner Ms. Maureen, a very cheerful and kind person, who promptly answered all our questions prior to the trip, and helped us on a daily basis with tourist tips and local maps, making our short stay on this stunning island full of good memoriesOn the day of our arrival, it was almost evening, she made a point of welcoming us and prepared us a delicious full dinner, worthy of good restaurants, although she modestly does not recognize this. In fact, she even cooked a copious breakfast to perfection, which prepared us for the long hikes and walks around the island.We are very grateful for everything and if we can we will return to Claigan House

This was the highlight of our trip trough Scotland. The great hospitality of Maureen let us feel like home. The view out of the window was always stunning. The room was big and cozy, everything was fresh renovated. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was very good. The bed was soft, (I can have it harder) but I slept so good. The B&B is 15 minutes away from the little City of Dunvegan. So that’s a very lonely quite spot. Totally relaxing. Just surrounded by lambs and deers. That’s everting you want in a Isle of Skye stay. Maureen has also a very good breakfast. You can reach a lot of great spots like old man of storr in about an hour drive. Pretty close there is the wonderful white corral beach. And parking is absolute no problem.
