Lovely owner who helped us out when we were stranded in the area because of a flat tire. He helped us finding a place to stay and sleep (his place was fully booked) and drove us up to another place. He really was our kindly Scottish rescuer! 😊

We stayed in the Pod for 2 nights to visit friends in Elgol. The Pod is cosy, well equipped and has fantastic views of the sea, islands and mountains. The check in was easy and then we headed down the hill to the Elgol Bistro for a superb dinner. The Fish and Chips was great but the ice cream was amazing. It's worth the drive from Broadford for the ice cream alone! We spent 2 comfy nights in the Pod before heading home and would highly recommend the accommodation, hosts and Bistro.

The room is cozy and clean and the bistro that is just around the corner and run by the owner has great food and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a great stay and can only recommend!

The pod was probably one of the coziest places I ever stayed at. I enjoyed every minute. Also great choice of equipment, I had everything I needed.For a small price Donald provided a breakfast basket and dinner to reheat. Dinner came from the bistro which was closed on the nights I stayed there. Even the reheated versions of the meals were delicious so the fresh experience in the Elgol Bistro must be top-notch.Views from the pod’s porch are lovely.Thank you, Eileen, for the ride!Thank you Donald and Eileen for a perfect stay!

My husband and I stayed at Suilven B&B in mid September. We were in the middle of an independent walking tour organized by C-N-Do Scotland, and we spent two nights at this lovely place. Donald and Eileen were thoughtful and gracious hosts, going so far as to make us a special anniversary dinner the evening of our anniversary, as we had no alternative dinner options. Elgol is quite remote with less amenities than we're used to (especially when traveling on foot without a car), but Donald and Eileen made us feel at home and welcome. We enjoyed our down day exploring Prince Charlie's Cave. I loved sitting at the table in front of the large windows to enjoy the view. Breakfast was delicious (especially the porridge), and dinner both evenings was super satisfying. The room was lovely and cozy, and having a spacious bathroom was an unexpected blessing. I'd love to visit again in the future!!

Great one night stay. Donald & Eileen very welcoming with helpful advice re: walks etcRoom/adjacent ensuite extremely comfortable and separated from family area for privacy.Good selection offered for continental style breakfast with a superb window seat!!

The host is very kind and thoughtful. The bedroom is pretty and comfortable. The bath room is clean and well equipped. The place is designed with a good taste and the best time is having breakfast, when I can see the beautiful landscape through the big window. I have a good experience there so I recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic stay with this lovely family. We were in Elgol for a friend's wedding and Eileen and Donald were so generous and thoughtful. We will definitely be back. Thank you...oh and the porridge is the best ever...

Stayed in the Pod for one night. I only wish we could stay longer! It was just magical. You can’t beat the view and the charm of the area and the pod has everything one needs (little kitchenette, various utensils, fridge, microwave and even a hair dryer and toiletries). Tastefully decorated, it is homey and cute. We loved it.
