A real scam. The photos they have published of the rooms do not match the real rooms. You can barely find photos of the bathroom since the bathroom sink is directly in the room under the coat rack. The rooms are damp and it is impossible to open the windows. Upon arrival we found the room dirty, without towels and a used toothbrush in the shower. Sleeping in a container was a much better option. I tell you from the bottom of my heart, do not take any stay here.

microscopic room, to get 2 shower towels I had to go down and ask for them at the reception of the hotel next door (the sheriff), bed/towels were never changed, not to mention the cleanliness we found upon our arrival.... .

I'm glad that I ignored the reviews, hotel room was spotless,staff were friendly, allowed us to leave our bags in the hotel before our room was ready, excellent spot for the Victoria Station, Sainsbury's just around the corner.

Horrible rooms, horrible corridors to your rooms, dirty overall. There were bed bugs everywhere (explaining why other people felt itchy in their places), the shower was a disgrace I had to wear sandals going into it as if it was a public shower. Couldnt get any sleep because the bed was on rollers so it felt like you were on a skateboard the whole night. Disgusting. I had to leave this sespit after only spending half an hr in the room.My agency "Clubtravel" has called the GrapeVine and spoken to Ravi. He has conclusively refused all forms of reimbursement for the booking.As a consequence of the unhygienic conditions they have flagged this hotel and taken measures to de-list it from their offerings for London.

The location and the price is a plus for this one, every close to the Victoria coach and rail station (6 and 8-minute's walk respectively). There are Starbucks and Sainsbury's within 10 minutes walk. Check in at the hotel next door.The room is small but has the basics and inside is clean (i didn't wear socks in the room and my feet weren't dirty). The water doesn't drain fast but drains. It's okay for a affordable stay over in London, but the room I had wasn't very soundproof so I got awakened by the traffic outside.

Read a few reviews and feared the worst. However, we picked the keys up from reception from a pleasant receptionist and went up to our room. It was quite small, but had a double bed, toilet and shower so we were happy. …

Came in with fairly low expectations but was not disappointed. Needed somewhere cheap to crash for an early morning flight.Location and price are a big plus.Room itself was clean, odd layout with 2 double and 2 single beds. Private bathroom across the hall, had been cleaned but not particularly brilliantly.Secondary door in hall could do with some WD40, it’s incredibly loud. Would’ve been nice to have a lock on the window for some peace of mind as was on ground floor.It does what it says on the tin. Wouldn’t go in with high expectations but really can’t complain for the price.

Traveling a lot. Never seen such a horrible hotel its not even worth 1 star. Room size as big as mach box no table no chair no curtains!!! Street lamp shining all night straight in your eyes. Mucky floor. Toilet seet not fitted no vent in bathroom exc. Never again

Very close hotel to Victoria coach station. |Stayed with my two daughters, friendly reception staff.|Rooms had been refurbished but the plug sockets not fixed properly to the wall, shower not fixed up against wall properly, the beds very springy and uncomfortable, very small rooms ,wouldn't go back.

The hotel is being renovated, but you can't help but smile or frown: square toilet bowl and oval seat, new moldings above the mirror, but the protective film was installed and is hanging in shreds. :-) Nevertheless: the rooms are clean upon arrival, after that no one cares anymore (we stayed there for 3 nights). A second towel can be requested. The broken drain was also repaired immediately. Reception very friendly and accommodating. Opposite there is a very good breakfast restaurant with a good price-performance ratio.Ergo: If you only need one bed and have no other requirements, you can sleep well in the Grapevine.

I was given the smallest room in the world with my child. I couldn't even turn around in the bathroom, there was no mirror in the bathroom and no soap.There was no place to hang towels anywhere. I don't recommend it. Unless you like claustrophobic places. The only plus is free luggage storage.

The reception was in the hotel next door, where they gave us the keys to enter the hotel and the room card. Upon entering the hotel, we were struck by the holes in the walls, the dirty carpets in the corridor and staircase, the smell of paint and the mess all around. The room was so small that it didn't even fit any furniture except the beds. One of the beds would need fixing, the frame was falling to the side and took a lot. The room had a tiny bathroom with a shower, where the water almost overflowed from the shower when I showered.When I lifted the drain cover, there were long black hairs hanging from it with gray filth, which I had to remove and clean the waste. If the hotel is undergoing some kind of renovation, they should definitely not be renting out rooms. Simply the worst experience so far.
