Place is a bit old so it's not a five star hotel, but this is a great accommodation with very reasonable prices in central London. It's kind of a hostel but with more privacy and better rooms. Lovely summer stay in central London - staff definitely make it much better.

Rooms are adequate but there’s no AC! And the windows are designed to open minimally so no air flow. Door has to be propped open to allow air flow. While that’s fine during waking hours is it really something anyone wants to risk when sleeping?!

Horrible stay. Shower was clogged and broken, broken window, nasty kitchen, not even a fan in the room, and overall I had a very uncomfortable stay.Worst of all I contacted them via an email address I got after calling, and after two months of waiting and numerous reminder emails, I was told "Sorry, nothing we can do."To end on a good note, and why it is two stars, good location near Kings Cross. Only about a 10 minute walk away.

It's central and the staff are kind. I spent a year living here and this hall has a crazy mouse infestation problem. I found one dead in my shower, another dead near my laundry basket. They will come into your room. The security is really bad. There was no 24/7 security which I think is horrendous for a first year, central accom. I once had someone who wasn't a student follow me through the building. Please be very wary if you stay here. The only positive was those that work in reception are very lovely.

The accommodation was very basic, the kitchen was very badly equipped and dirty, the lock on my door wouldn’t lock from inside the room and whilst the staff were polite on check in they took absolutely no notice on subsequent occasions. …

nice accommodation in a fantastic central location considering the price point - much cheaper than nearby premier inns with a lot more personality. bound to have some cosmetic issues due to it being a grade 2 listed victorian house - but the service is good, rooms are comfortable and reception employees are lovely
