We stayed for a week with 4 adults and three children. I have a lot to say about our stay.Let me start by saying overall we had a lovely stay and a great week! The good:There's a lot to love!* Location is excellent!! Shops nearby, everything walking distance. Underground minutes away.* Quite street/alleyway location* It's a big appartment! As mentioned we stayed with 7 people and never felt cramped. The two bathrooms really were very handy.* It's a pretty appartment. The kitchen is nice and the main furniture and decor and nice too. A hotel of a similar size and location would cost 4 times as much.* Communication with Urban Stays was quick and pleasant.* Beds were comfortableThe less great:* The appartment isn't clean. We don't care about scuffs on the wall, or scratched trims, or broken lamp shades. We do care about general cleanliness. The lampshades were covered in thick layers of dust. Moving furniture exposed thick bundles of dust and junk. Or youngest has allergies and he did a lot of coughing in the appartment. This really keeps us from recommending this appartement to our friends. If they freshen up the place an keep it tidy it would be a no-brainer to return.* The lights were a pain. They flickered and were dicey at best. It's cool to be able to dim all the lights, but if they acts weird or flicker it defeats the purpose.* I'd really expect a coffee maker in this kind of accomodation.* The thermostat was confusing. It was really hot when we got there. Had to fiddle with the thermostat for a while to get the heat down.General observations:* We'd love to see more mugs, plates and cutlery. For a bigger group it's just a bit too sparse.* People need to be aware there are only stairs leading up to the appartment. Not a big deal but it can be a think with strollers or a disability* The TV wasnt great but we didn't mind as we weren't there to watch tv haha.* The welcome info was out of date regarding the WiFi. You can find the WiFi info on the TV cabinet.* We couldn't find a vacuum cleaner. Would make tidying up after us a lot easier.* The key codes were confusing at first. The main door code is bold in the email but the appartment door code inst and easily overlooked.

Terrible experience. The apartment is in a crucial, central and at the same time silent position.ALL HERE.Assistance is non-existent and the services described are imaginary. As soon as we arrived we waited for an hour and a half in front of the apartment door because the code given to us was wrong and only after countless phone calls were we given the right one.Once we entered the house, but we had the feeling as soon as we crossed the entrance door, everything appeared dilapidated. In one bathroom there is no protective glass to use the shower, in another the towel warmer is only placed against the wall and not working, in one bedroom the windows do not close properly (therefore it is not usable), the hood of the kitchen is not working and the hob is placed right under the fire alarm. The bed linen is of very poor quality and the crockery has been put together haphazardly. The cleaning scheduled once a week never happened. All this was immediately reported to those who were supposed to provide us with assistance, but we never heard back!It is evident that maintenance has not been taken care of for a long timeStaying in this apartment and requesting the services of this agency was definitely a bad decision!

My worst ever decision and will never book Urban Stay. Location is good no doubt. However it does not provide the very basic item and many things are not working.TV!!!! Freezer, ventilation in the toilet and the light in master bed room. I reported the issues on Thursday until I checked out on Tuesday only the freezer is fixed (it’s working with noise).Master bed room is the worst. They put two beds alongside to form a king size bed. One mattress was like “foam” making you fall. In the toilet there is no where to hold or place the toilet paper. You are standing four feet away from the mirror. You cannot do makeup or hair styling. For 3 bed room 5 night stay, only two laundry capsules, no garbage bag provided, one table cloth in the kitchen, four tea bags. Thank you very much!!!!

I am really satisfied with everything. The central location, a stone's throw from the shops on Oxford Street and the apartment was comfortable and clean. We had a great time and everything was explained correctly. I recommend this place . When I’ll return in London I’ll reserve again here . Thanks for all

I spent 6 days in an Urban Stay apartment. The apartment is good. It is advertised for 5 people, but it has dishes for 4.Access to it was chaotic. Three days before arrival I receive an email to transfer the amount for possible damages caused during the stay. In the link, they required a credit card issue number, which practically no card has. The same credit card with which I made the reservation for the apartment does not have that number. And since I couldn't make that transfer, I didn't get the access code to the apartment. I tried to connect with booking, through whom I had made the reservation (excellent service) and there was no case. I got to the apartment and couldn't get in. We spent 3 hours with my family on the street, with rain and cold, and a sick daughter, making calls to booking until we got the phone number for Urban Stay- Oxford Circus. Very difficult treatment. We were mistreated by the staff of this company. Booking gave the company 30 minutes to give us the access code and otherwise they would arrange for us to stay in another similar property. After 15 minutes, we got the access code and were able to enter. Conclusion, 3 days trying to make a payment, 3 hours on the street in terrible environmental conditions, to be able to access the apartment. Unfortunate and I do not recommend it.

DO NOT BOOK! STAY AWAY! Apartment is filthy and disgusting and nothing like the pictures! The reviews are all true. The apartment is dirty, the bedding is not enough and does not even fit the beds, only one lamp and that is broken, it has a dirty smell, the walls, switches, counters, etc is grubby and dirty. We now have to "wait a few hours so that the owner can bring bedding and come and clean the apartment" (feedback from customer service)! We were told we can only check in at 15h00. At 16h00 we now have to wait for him to come and clean....!

Left my family and friends stranded outside the accommodation after claiming to have cancelled 2-3 weeks prior, despite us receiving no email or refund.Had a nightmare getting somewhere else booked on the spot because of them. Will never book with them again.

What I Disliked : The heating didn't work properly, it was cold. Communication with the management company "UrbanStay" very poor. I mentioned that the roller blinds didn't work (see photo, chain fell off), they didn't react right away, they simply ignored my request the first time. After 3 days, they finally intervened to put the chain back on, but it fell off again shortly afterwards. The chain in the other bedroom didn't work either. The decoration of the apartment was much less pretty than internet photos and colder ambiance than the photos on Booking, no more carpets, the frames are now made of torn cardboard (see photos). Insulation was poor, and the threshold of the port terrace in the master bedroom was damp (stagnant water), ... Finally, the sheets on the bed in the master bedroom were too small (photo 4), making it uncomfortable at night. Can't they buy a fitted sheet of the right size? This gives the impression that they're only interested in money and don't focus on the quality of customer service. In short, disappointing. You can get better value for money in London. What I Liked : Very central location, spacious apartment.
