Hostel is located next to funeral parlor that we didn’t know ! We are not allow to park our car there ! Waze here but the direction is incorrect and even Google map location is wrong,I booked 1 family room , 2 double room , 3 bunk bed for my group of 12 pax through booking. Shared kitchen , bathroom, dining and living area .

Don't understand the bad reviews. Place was clean, good amenities, fairly prices and staff was friendly. Yes, the place is a tad noisy (thin walls) but it is not very large so there wasn't really an issue there. All in all great hostel!

I don't understand the negative reviews. The hostel is very clean and seems to be somewhat recently refurbished. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was a cozy sitting room upstairs.We finished the Skye trail and wanted a place to rest up and shower off before traveling off the island. We didn't have a reservation, but they had one "small" private room still available (number 7.5). It was exactly what we needed. Small, but not unreasonably so.The staff was friendly and I can't think of a single complaint. It was a little strange that it's located above/behind a funeral home, but it was a funny, surreal experience to watch the shipment of coffins come in this morning. And at least you know that the neighbours won't make a lot of noise at night.

The first impression was not the best. However, everything inside is clean, the toilets and showers are always cleaned. Lots of equipment in the shared kitchen. The hostel has rules for guests and everyone tried to follow them. Thus, peace at night. The beds should be replaced. Very helpful receptionist Stanka. I will definitely come back here 👍

My room was very clean and nice. Alot of light and with a sink in the room. Several showers and toilets near the room. The lady that welcomes you is the best. Nice and polite and shows you everything. The towel was a bit pricey, over £3 for a towel. There are some free stuff in the fridge and you can get free coffee and tea.Its only a couple of minutes walk to town centre with a Coop store, pub, petrol station etcetera. I would gladly stay here again.

The best backpackers. Well functioning kitchen. Lovely spacious rooms. We went as a group of 4 and had a room to ourselves. Bathroom showers were world class. Great value for money even during peak season.

Didn't stay the night, my brother and I were passing though in our little campervan, and asked if we could re stock water, charge a few things and borrow the WiFi and kitchen for a while.The Hostel graciously charged us £20 to do so, and we had a great experience relaxing a while and using the well stocked kitchen facilities to cook some of our stored food.Seems like a great place to stay, facilities and atmosphere and location are all great.

Very functional hostel. A large kitchen and a large dining room available. The double rooms are very simple but it is sufficient (a bed, a chair, storage unit). A sink is also installed in the room which allows only the toilet and shower to be shared in the common area. Small minus: the walls are very thin.
