Went for brunch today but wasn't overly impressed - expected a far higher standard in a boutique hotel and last time I visited (before the pandemic) the food and service was much much better.Wine was served in what looked like an ikea wine glass - uninspired! The brunch sandwich was burnt and lacked flavour.I don't think I will visit again any time soon. This is sad since this place used to serve excellent food in a great setting - also sad that the little food shop is gone - it was lovely.

To the two ladies who were working the lobby today. You should be ashamed of yourselves.A surprise shower caught a number of people in the rain forming a small crowd under the front awning - I shifted inside with the confusion only to be shouted out and spoken to as if I was unwanted dog. “You can’t wait in here”.To be clear, the lobby opens up to a shop, Albion, next door.As I gestured towards the shop, I was menacingly told that it was the same establishment - as if your kind isn’t allowed in that shop either. If spoken to politely, I would of happily walked into the shop and bought something in exchange for 10 minutes of shelter while I waited out the rain. Instead I was shooed in the grossest of fashion. So to those two ladies - you’re a liability and a disgrace.

Staff: The restaurant staff were really inattentive and the downstairs staff were extremely rude.Venue: Really beautiful venue with a nice view.Food: Tried the sharing skewer platter it was expensive, tasteless, everything undercooked (even the fish) which gave us gastrointestinal disorder.Drinks: Cocktails were very nice & innovative.Overall experience was very disappointing and would not be returning.

Boundary rooftop is great when you are on the rooftop for drinks only. Ambience during main hours is good, there is good music and great crowd. The food is where they lose points. The mains are fine, nothing special. The appetizers are meh, honestly, wish I had not ordered anything. The robatta is overpriced. I got the squid skewer and it was laughable how small it was, it didn't even deserve a plate.Drinks are reasonably priced.Around 30 mins before leaving they play music that you would hear at a massage or yoga studio and it's obvious they want you to leave. It closes at 11pm which felt early. All in all, it was an OK experience, I'd only go back for drinks.
